OXYGEN TONIGHT THE REBECCA ZAHAU CASE

Long time reader here, who feels compelled to speak up. These are my thoughts after watching the OWN special. The most plausible explanation for RZ’s nakedness, which the evidence backs up, is that she was attacked/killed after she got out of the shower wrapped in a towel. The perpetrator then...

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 June 2014 - #7

We don't know if this was a planned or spontaneous sleepover, we don't know if NO was a frequent weekend overnight guest at his grandparent's house, we don't know if they locked all of the doors and windows before they went to sleep, we don't know if NO talked to other kids or adults while on...

I agree. They sound ignorant and like they're phoning it in. QUOTE=Carli;10746006]... Completely OT, but honestly, lazy reportage like this makes me crazy. What's a "barren" desk? Is it a desk unable to give birth to little baby desks? Did the writer mean "empty" or "abandoned" or "vacant"...

It's a horrible thought, but I wonder if the police have considered that NO may be the impetus for the crime? His gregarious personality, and talking to visitors at the estate sale, could have attracted the attention of an unsavory visitor to the house, or his several trips that day to the...

That's interesting and IMO would make logical sense as an escalated domestic dispute caused by stress and money.

If you take the case back down to the basics, what's so puzzling to me is that the perpetrator chose to move three victims-- including one who is 6' and 200 lbs.-- another who is a young child--and one of the three in medical distress. Even with a gun, doesn't it make it difficult to subdue...

    premeditation

The thing that bothers me is the gun. Why did she steal a gun from her own grandparents and then end up stabbing him instead?? This has been bugging me, especially as her victim was stronger and could have potentially over powered her. Then it occurred to me. I think she planned to shoot him...
