I think she thinks she was awesome and "winning"...oblivious. Although there were a few questions that got to her..like the one asking if she was jealous of Cancun.. I wish they would ask that one over and over...lol.

wish I could thank this post a hundred times!!

I'm so ready for today. I can't wait to hear more juror questions and JM!! Go JM! Yeah!

Poor JA. What can she do when everything and everyone around her abuses her? Don't you know it's the Mormon Church's fault that she had so many potential boyfriends. lol.

I noticed when she answered the question about being jealous re: his taking another woman to Cancun, as she said, "No," she actually nodded. Did anyone else catch that?

It may be a minor point and I can't go back and find the post, but I am praying that JM follows up with a question about when that conference was. JA said that Ryan had to be wrong about her hair color, based on the month, March versus April. I know a poster here quoted her testimony and then a factual site post about it being exactly the way Ryan said it, and JA was adamant about it during the jury questions. Just one of her lies that has taken up residency in the back of mind and in my craw.....

The poster referred to an LDS conference. Was that the conference in question or was it a PPL conference?

Personally, I think it is YET ANOTHER assault on TA's character.

Yes, I agree completely. It will never add up to murder or abuse = She just THRIVES on trashing his name.

Sickening, IMO.:furious:

I havent been here long enough to be sure whether this post will be OT, appropriate, or acceptable and hope I don't break any rules here but compelled to risk it....

I realize that all opinions are welcome here, but c'mon!!!

I keep seeing it said "TA was no saint" "He was not an angel" etc

In all my reading and following of this case, I've not once seen anything like this said by anyone ever!

According to those who knew him best he was a good man. He was kind man. He was generous to a fault. He was charming and the life of the party. He was a man that would give you the shirt off his back and a man that not only aspired to find the best in himself, but wanted to help others do the same. He was also a man who had consensual sex with someone that was aware and in agreement that it was 'casual sex' as opposed to lovemaking.

Saint? No one has said that, but I think its pretty clear that Travis Alexander was a remarkable human being. Most of us, if we are lucky, have someone in our lives that just stands out as so special, and from what we see, Travis was this person to those that knew him.

/rant over - sorry folks!

Good post. I don't see TA as a saint, or non-saint. I see him as a human being. Fallible, not perfect. I also don't see the sex, if any or if all, as being good, bad, etc. It appeared to be (from the liar's mouth, of course) just sex. Consensual sex. Different strokes for different folks.

after the jury questions, i believe nurmi and mr martinez are allowed to question ja further regarding the questions the jury posed.

she's going to up there a lot longer :(

Not looking forward to Nurmi...Just Juan

i was listening in yesterday on the way home and I heard Miss Jodi say "construde"

I gasped! Thats a Casey word! :what:

If you took away the vocabulary she learned from being around other people and reading books, she would probably sound like a 12 year old.

:giggle:

She sounds like a twelve year old any way. Some of the ways she describes things are the way a child would. ex: "Travis is mean" That's what a little kid would say to describe someone being angry or mad...

Has Viper Queen been able to produce the alleged pedophilia pamphlets, or did they go the way of the gun, knife, rope, bloody clothes, phone charger, gas can, Spidey undies etc.?

I am going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing she's a fan of Clue? :waitasec:

I really like you! Thanks so much for this. Most of the posters very emotionally attached to this case repeatedly state Travis was as human as we are and made mistakes just like we do. Further, a few of us can attest that being in a relationship with a psychopath can cause even the most patient and loving soul to become hostile and frustrated.

Conceding he was a good man and that there were scores of people who loved, admired, and respected him isn't the same thing as sanctifying him - not by a very long way.

The poster referred to an LDS conference. Was that the conference in question or was it a PPL conference?

Whatever it was, it was held six months apart. She mentioned that yesterday and it jived with what the poster shared here. It's just that JA had the months off by one.

mental condition>? what mental condition? she doesnt have a mental condition have you not heard her all along? she is perfect in every way it is all their fault from mommie and daddy to every last beau she ever had.....LOL
just kidding geeeesh mental condition is putting it mildly.. more like

One Flew Over the Coo Coo's nest

I bringing this over from the last thread and I've lost the author of the quote in the process. :waitasec: In any case ITA!

What a great juror question and what a devastating response from their client for the DT as we wait on baited breath for the psychologist who allegedly has been treating JA and the DV expert.
No mental conditions hahaha. No insight, no clue and apparently no treatment for her years of abuse, fogs and presumed PTSD or whatever the excuse is for mutilating a human being who may or may not have said 'f*cking kill you b*tch' after you shot them in the temple.
What an amazing way to set up for the experts who've been hired to humanize the killer. What an amazing score for the State!!!

After re-watching the jury question and answers from yesterday, I had a light bulb moment.

Jodi was asked Did Travis ever tell you that he kept the gun loaded?

She answered that Travis told her that at one point he CONSIDERED loading it, but assured her that is was not loaded. She said that in her mind, she thought pointing a gun at him would make him stop.

My observance on this... If she was told that the gun was NOT loaded, why would she think that pointing the gun at him would make him stop?

If the gun existed the way she describes, Travis would not fear an empty gun being pointed at him. He would have NO REASON to stop because he would not worry about being shot.

I think this shows yet another fictional tale in her story. I am NOT being pro-Jodi with this statement, I just think it illustrates another one of her lies regarding the (so called) gun.

Since Jodi has told SO MANY lies, I don't know why she wouldn't have added another one and said the gun was loaded - that would have made more sense, otherwise why would she waste time retrieving an unloaded gun - IF the gun was Travis', which I absolutely don't believe, then Travis would have known it was unloaded and wouldn't be afraid of Jodi holding an unloaded gun! Once again, her story makes no sense! :jail:

Hi Everyone!

I'm new here and wanted to hop on board! You are all so savvy, I hope I can keep up.

JA testified yesterday that she printed directions from Mapquest from Cali to Mesa. Do we know where she printed these? Yesterday was the first we heard about this. Daryl only mentioned that she checked email during her 30min breakfast/gas can visit, but did not mention her printing directions. Or.....did she already have directions prior to "changing" her travel plans? hummmmmm. She would have also had navigator on her helio...although we know her phone was switched off. But, printing Mapquest, I would jump if the jury caught onto that and have asked this question!

:websleuther:

Oh, sure there are. At the mall near me, there's a pedophilia brochure stand right between the Pro-Active and Sunglass Hut kiosks. :rolling::rolling::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Really? We have a dressed up squirrel handing them out on the sidewalk where I live. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

The 'pedophile' thing is soooo Jose Baez/Casey Anthony! Nurmi throws it in there for shock value and it turns out to be a snoozer. If anyone looks like a deviate - it's the defense atty!

No offense in any way, but I don't feel that emotionally attached to Travis. That is not to say I don't want to see justice served or feel emphathy for his family and friends, but I'm more enthralled with what makes this woman tick and her choice to ruin her life over this man. The case study if you will, of a female sociopath that committed such a stupid crime!!

I have wildabouttrial up and the azfamily up as a backup just in case one goes dark.

Can you use a Nook Color to do these? or can you use u stream like a smartphone? are there any Noon users out there?

aaack. I had composed a lengthy post regarding the spidey undies and the school girl fantasy and then got distracted with werk. Went to hit submit, the thread closed on me while I wasn't looking, lol.

Just wanted to say that the movie Charlies Angels was released in the year 2000 and featured Cameraon Diaz dancing around in the spidey panties. That scene was touted as "hot" and sexy.

Britney Spears released the single "Hit me baby, One more time" whose video featured Brit (a teen) wearing a school girl looking outfit and pigtailed braids. That song was released in 1999 and was quite controversial at the time because of its school girl imagery and the lyrics which seemed to promote domestic violence.

My point is this. At the time these things were part of the pop culture conversation, these two young people were in the key demographic that the movie and song would appeal to. These two very strong images were espoused by society and the media to be "sexy"

Is it any wonder that these two images, that were so much a part of their probable pop culture awareness crept into their sexcapades?

THE ONLY thing that makes either of these things seem sinister or deviant when viewing them is if they are viewed through the filter of a LIAR's lies.

Take away the completely unsubstantiated lies of a murderer and we would not even be discussing the Spidey undies or the 12 year old horny school girl business. And frankly, because both these images were so very prevalent as "sexy" during that time period, I am 100% convinced that Ms. Arias, the one who liked to manipulate men with her vagina, is who introduced both to their romps.

MOO
