(WOFL FOX 35, Orlando,AP) -- The grandparents of missing toddler Caylee Anthony hope that a child's skull found near their home doesn't belong to their granddaughter, but are realistic about the possibility that the recently uncovered remains may be hers, their attorney said Monday.

December 15, 2008 - 3:30 PM: Investigators from the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation continue to process the crime scene where the remains of a young child were discovered on December 11, 2008 by an Orange County utilities worker. The scene continues to produce items of evidentiary value that relate to the discovery of the child's body however investigators will not discuss specific details pertaining to the evidence recovered from the scene. Detectives can not say how long they will continue to process the crime scene other than to confirm that the processing will continue until they are certain that everything of evidentiary value has been recovered. Investigators also advised that they have not positively identified the remains of the victim recovered from the wooded area just off of Suburban Drive in Southeast Orange County. Updates on this investigation will be provided as they become available.

Capt. Angelo Nieves, of the Orange County Sheriff's Office, says they have made more significant finds during Monday's search of the area where the remains were found, but he could not release specifics on that evidence. He also said that they are using experts from the University of Central Florida, an anthropologist, an entomologist and a botonist to examine the scene.

That phone call makes the meter reader ineligible for a $5,000 Crimeline reward. To collect the reward, you have to call Crimeline first before you call 911.

"You have to initiate a tip with Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS," explained Detective Barb Bergin, Crimeline. "We don't have enough money to pay rewards to everyone who calls 911."

Bergin encourages people to call 911 if there is an emergency, but Crimeline calls are answered 24 hours a day.
