ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - The Orange County Sheriff's Office released an additional 1,100 pages of documents related to the case against Casey Anthony on Thursday morning.

So where are they?

I think they are trying to do everything possible to keep the media focused on this case. Despite the cost of the investigation to OC LE, I think Nancy Grace, LP and local news channels have cashed in pretty good. To be clear so NG doesn't get offended. I don't mean extra money straight into her pocket, but instead an increase in ratings which leads to better contract negotation for her upcoming salary.

Are we being ripped off here?

More than 1,000 pages of legal documents have been released this morning

Or am I missing some of the docs online? I'm counting 201 pages.....where's the other 800 or so?

This is nothing new. Sometimes the media hasn't released all of them till 8 oclock at night. They have to read through it all, to make sure all names and Social security numbers are redacted. Scan all the pages, etc.

Also if there are any comprimising pics, the media may have to go through each one to make sure they aren't violating FCC decency laws.

That is pretty weird that Nancy gets offended when someone mentions how much money she is making. Yeah, like CNN really pays her extra when their profit goes up.

The part of the interview with AL that he talks about KC crying (albeit not sobbing) over her daughter just brought me to tears. That poor little angel, that poor little angel.

I want to scream for the injustice of it all.

I think I need to walk away for awhile, because the more I read, the more my heart breaks for that little baby girl.

OT: for the news shows, NG & co., high ratings is job security - and I would bet the house she is paid much more now than a few years ago. Contracts are typically only a year or two just for that purpose - if you did well, you negotiate your salary up.

On topic: I agree they have to redact the documents, and that does take time. If there are compromising pictures, they have to redact and make sure it complies with the FCC as someone said. Also, if they really want to post "adult" pictures - or even just disturbing pictures - they have to put up a disclaimer page where you certify that you are over 18 and are comfortable viewing such images.

IMO I think they also try to stagger it over time because each time we go back to check the home page over and over again, its another page view -> more advertising revenue.

I get kind of indignant when people diss her, particularly the Anthony's. She unjustly lost a loved one, just as Adam Walsh, Marc Klass and the Anthony's have, and just like them, she focused her grief on a mission to bring injustice to light, which resulted in her show. Yes, she makes money for it, but it's pretty apparent to me the woman is passionate about what she does, and I respect that.

ITA, njustice. Aside from her revolting bling bling, you all must admit that NG has shown Caylee more dignity than any one person in that messed up A Family!!! While they continue to spit on Caylee's grave, NG is STILL standing up for this sweet, precious child victim. My hat's off to her for being there for Caylee. That is a he!! of a lot more than any of the A's have done for her.:snooty:

Oh, gross. If I were Jose Baez's wife, I would have serious, serious trouble with this. SERIOUS trouble.

I don't believe he is married. I've looked on his fingers and never seen a wedding ring. I seriously think him and KC have something going on.

She doesn't make money off the death of her fiance. She made money off being a lawyer and then a judge. She made her name by becoming a court tv reporter. She's earned the right to be on TV every night through merit, whether one likes the way she bashes her guest speakers or not. They seem to get a chuckle out of it so it's no sweat off my big toe.

i dont see a way to download from myfoxorlando.
guess i'll just wait til someone else puts it up.

I agree..
I like her.. I believe she is truly a good person.. who honestly wants and tries to help. I know some people think she is just concerned with ratings.. but I dont think so.. She always does reports on the less "famous" missing.. case in point recently... little Adji Desir .. I have yet to see ANY other national news show even mention him. And she ALWAYS has a tribute to our fallen soldiers.. IMO.. she really is a true victims advocate.. and frankly... rightnow.. Im wishing she was the lead prosecutor in orlando!.
