The thing is though, he knows the state will call AH & TL because they are important witnesses for the state. So I think he wants to get as much as he can use against them during cross-exam at the trial, for example, probably proving the TL is the one who actually rented the movies on 6/16 to discredit a possible state theory that they were Casey's idea. MOO

The state has not released the part of LE's interview with Tony about his conversations with Casey the night of June 15 and June 16. Maybe JB wants to see what, if any, of Tony's version matches whatever Casey told him?

Amy's 36 minute conversation with Casey on June 16 also has not been released. If Casey asked Amy to watch Caylee, it would put Casey in a little better light. It means Caylee was alive when Amy talked to Casey and Casey was making provisions for her. That would mean Casey didn't necessarily intend to kill Caylee when she told George Caylee wouldn't be home that night.

While it is true that Amy turning down Casey could have led to Casey being made more desperate and deciding to kill Caylee, it would make a long-term planned-in-advance murder by chloroform less likely.

Those are just a couple of my speculations on things Casey may have told Baez that he might want to also have confirmed on-the-record to use.

Or was the hearing ONLY about crime scene images, and doesn't count, say autopsy images? I am confused and a little...well, horrified.

The duct tape over Caylee's skull photo specifically was brought up during the hearing.

Sounds like whatever rumor the prosecutors had heard about this image being shopped around to various tabloids might not have been a rumor.

If the photos are used for sensationalism I agree that's sick but if they showed up on a show like Forensic Files to show how certain things were ascertained from it that would be interesting.

No SS was filed for from the death of Cayless father because he singed off on parental rights? WTF? If he did that wouldn't they know who he was?

I don't think that signing off on paternal rights would have precluded Caylee from receiving SS benefits.

The benefits are for the child, not the bat**** crazy parents.

I have been watching Nancy Grace for approximately a year and a half. Is it just me or she getting more and more nasty/cut throat and always on attack mode? I'm to the point that I don't want to watch her show anymore. Some of her comments are also very insulting to the intellect and misleading.

I believe this is something Cindy told the detectives in one of her interviews. She said she had papers drawn up by a lawyer giving her and
Ga rights to Caylee if anything should happen to Casey. According to CA, the father gave up his parental rights. She even told the detectives she had the papers somewhere at home if they needed them. Never heard anything about it again. Likely another CA mistruth.

I think I remember the attorney saying that the papers had never been filed. Seems to be another Anthony misdirection strategy along with Universal ID badges and missing Blackjack phones..."I speak, therefore it's true"...

I agree - used to be she was just snarky with the defense attorneys, now she is even cranky with all the reporters - acts like everyone is a hostile witness or something.

Maybe she has her hands full with those twins - talking about them is the only time her face relaxes during the whole show.

Yes, TL already was deposed by Baez.
I think it was the same day Baez deposed the towyard workers.

IIRC the original story on one of the daily update threads was that the photos had been released to the defense (on one of those discs ?). Wasn't it part of the motion hearing a while ago about the autopsy records, etc., that these were to be sent to defense to use only on secure server to send to their "experts"? The SA was worried about them being released to the media and judge said JB could not use this info other than to have their experts review. I don't think they will be released under the sunshine laws.

Way back in an earlier doc dump, there was a statement from the lawyer that supposedly did this for CA and he specified that he had NOT, had NO file, NO record, etc. Apparently part of CA's fantasyland (located next to KCland).

Yeah... Cindy, Mrs. Honesty herself. Makes me laugh whenever people question how Casey came to live on fantasy island and lie everytime her mouth opens..
