Older, well known wealthy businessman, speculated on here that he might be the father of Caylee. Will hunt through threads when I get time to send you in the right direction to read about him!

LOL - That is the only chance she has. The evidence is too overwhelming and the only one which she can turn that evidence on is George. Think about it.

Some think she will turn on Lee, but I don't see that happening because there is no evidence to support that Lee was around Caylee. Cindy was gone to work. George was not working then.

I really do believe before it is over that will be what they concoct.

Maybe you're right, with all of the twists and turns I shouldn't be too shocked by anything anymore.
Casey obviously has no conscience so what's throwing a parent under the bus after you kill your own child?

When trying to sow seeds of doubt to a jury, a whole new story doesn't have to work. But just poke holes in the one being told.

Which means that JB wouldn't have to explain those things you mentioned. He would just have to go after the crediblity of the witnesses . With Cindy, he can point to her lying again and again. All trying to help KC. But still, it points her out to being an untrustworthy witness that a jury shouldn't believe.

Those folks have went on record saying they call this person or that person at this time or that time. If the phone records don't back it up.... It might be used to show that the person sould be considered a lier.

Almost everybody on this case is a liar.

My guess is that he'll try to poke holes in the forensics.

But, if he tries to point the finger at someone else-- yes, he WILL have to establish that there is likelihood. He can't accuse a long-vanished bio dad, or a past boyfriend who isn't even interested in KC or Caylee.

I imagine LE did seek these phone records...I remember when Cindy turned her cell phone over to LE, but, IIRC, there was only like two days worth of calls on there. Yes CA. made sure that any call's before the point that she had to turn it over, were erased. Funny that all of the sim card's from KC's phone's were missing. I just know with the cell phone company's Do Keep that information at hand.

i voted they are going to say someone else...not the family or the friends that we know of now....

i think it will be someone that wanted to "teach her a lesson" that said if she did (?) then they would give caylee back and kc had until her 3rd birthday to do (?) they gave her a "script" to follow-stuff-caylee is with the nanny.... to tell her family when they asked to talk to caylee or to see caylee. defense will say that kc was told to go and act normal with her boy friend and friends so that no one would think there was anything wrong. defense will say that kc failed to do (?) so the kidnapers killed caylee....and framed kc for the murder.....all the defense needs is someone elses dna or and finger prints with in the bag with the childs body....and any dna and or prints in the car that matched.....i think the defense will say that the person who took caylee is someone she didnt know but was working for someone she had contact with before....that is why she used the nanny story....defense will say after she left her car....she was then affraid these people would come after her parents and brother if she told anything else.....defense will say ...kc new they killed caylee and new they would kill her parents as well.....

very long stretch....but just an idea of what the only way i could think of how the defense was going to go ........

If the defense were to use this lame excuse, how would they explain why she diden't at lease warn her parent's that their lives might be in danger? Isn't that what a loving and concernd daughter would do.

He may try to avoid implicating her family members, but if push comes to shove, he'll be shoving those As into the cell as quickly as he can, if possible.

I would like to know what other defense attorney's think of this "throwing an innocent person under the bus" to raise reasonable doubt for a client. I am not a legal expert, but I would think that there are some ethical lawyers that would refuse to hurt others in the process of defending a client.

I truly hope that most attorney's have better ethics. I just don't know that KC's does.

If this is his plan he knows he can soothe himself later knowing KC is the only one the evidence points to, that no jury would actually convict anyone else
and his KC might go free. If it works he's done his job.

Nothing to do with KC, just because he was in and around the woods near the remains site in August and again in October (with a shovel). His pings will be interesting to see. Everybody's will. (If I were JB I would have requested phone and internet records on a lot more people than these, though. For example JPC, DS, KMTC, Brian and Matt B, RCH, among others.) On the other hand, unless the person texts (receives lots of texts), there might not be enough pings to get much of an idea of where they were when. But it's worth checking.

You need one more choice in the poll, "All of the above." I believe they could go with the SOD defense, somone to be named at a later date did it. Better know as the Some Other Dude defense.

From what we've heard and read about AL so far, she doesn't seem to favor the SODDI defense in any way, shape or form, as she believes it is risky and tends to backfire at the sentencing stage.

Other than some inadvertent remains shuffling, there just doesn't seem to be a SODDI scenario that seems anywhere near reasonable when compared to the massive amounts of evidence so far pointing to KC (and I'm including her immediate family as theoretical suspects as well).

So, even if that is JB's strategy up to this point and his big play involves pinging people into proximity, I imagine there will be some serious wrangling to maintain that angle as a focal point if he wants to retain the big DP hired gun. I don't think his other options look too promising at this point in getting the DP off the table. He might just have to bite the bullet and go with the opinion of someone who actually has real and not imaginary, exaggerated or trumped-up "experience" with DP cases.

I really don't think JB can pin it on CA. Caylee was with CA on June 15, yet later cell pings place Casey at home. Wether GA recalled correctly or not that he saw both Casey and Caylee on June 16th. Pings and some computer usage show Casey at the A's on the 16th. Also, there were too many calls & texts between CA & Casey during that month... some of which were while CA was at work. I'm sure co-workers overheard CA asking of Caylee. Casey actually implicates herself and only herself by lying continually of where Caylee is during that month.

No matter how crazy CA has acted since that 911 call, there really isn't anything to substanuate a motive for her to hurt Caylee whether purposely or accidently. Nor GA or Lee. I think JB is just going to infer it could be anyone else by attacking all evidence. Although lawyering up after lying to LE is Casey's right, in this instance, not assisting to find her daughter is quite daming. And if there was any other person involved she would have saved herself since it's always about Casey.

I wonder if KC realizes that once this trial is done and over with(she will get jail time for at least one of her felonies) that Mr. Baez will be moving on to the next high profile client. He is not going to be her buddy. KC strikes me as a jealous, possessive type. When his attentions turn elsewhere, that in itself will destroy her ego while she rots in jail. It is just comforting to know that Kc will be in jail... time to think about all the rotten things she did. No matter what in the end, KC won't have a friend in this world.

Besides Casey, who else had the MMO to murder Caylee sometime between the time she returned to the Anthony home from visiting her maternal great grandfather on June 15, 2008 (Father's Day) and the time Casey is seen at Blockbuster Video with TL the next night June 16, 2008 ... no Caylee in sight ....

That's the window of opportunity, IMO.

And in regards to putting JG under the bus, I would hope JG (and RG) have his cellphone records and have their own cell phone ping map and have traced JG's whereabouts in order to ward off incoming attacks from Team Casey/Baez.
Hopefull all the former friends (with their lawyers) have put together evidence showing their whereabouts so they can defend themselves from being thrown under the bus by Casey.

I have always said they will go after George. He admitted to seeing her last (which I never believed) KC will say she left after the fight and left Caylee there. She will say George has always had a violent temper (which he has exhibited many times on TV) and that she was terrified of him. She will claim he put the body in her car (he had a key) and when she found it she freaked out so bad she had a psychotic break (flat emotions, etc.) She will say he threatened to kill Cindy, Lee and her if she told (he bought a gun and hid it) and he planned on killing them all if she talked. She will say she was protecting her mother and brother. She will say he gave her the "script" and made sure she did not vary from it and told her he would get her out of it if she would keep her mouth shut.

She will say the gas can incident was when she first saw the body and she didn't know what to do so she ran. Remember she said "he" ran over the squirrels which made the car smell. That is why he "chased" her as he told. She has been afraid to speak because she knew he would kill the others, so she waited until trial to tell the story.

WOW........I don't think they're stupid enough to put her on the stand...... but you certainly spin a logical yarn.
