Sounds to me like Misty and Tommy are still pointing fingers at Joe. LE needs to know where the body is located and found nothing except a couple of cinder blocks that could have been put there even after Haleigh went missing. They must want to blame Joe, get a reduced sentence, and never have the body found.

Weird. He seems to downplay the importance of that search and the items they found.

In the second half, he says... I'll transcribe it all from there:

I agree. But, what they have done is declare Haleigh died and try to point the finger at someone with no proof. They are proven liars so it's not like LE can arrest JO on their word alone! So they didn't accomplish what they set out to do and now Haleigh is declared dead!! Wonder what the next move is?:waitasec:

I'd put the fire to Misty's feet, and make her talk. Even though no evidence was found, I'd charge her with anything and everything I could, and threaten her with years and years in jail. She has admitted Haleigh is dead, so why not charge her with accessory to (or) after the fact and make her bond so high, she couldn't get out unless she was found, not guilty. Put that with her drug charges, and she could be looking at life! She thinks her drug charges will only amount to probation and some sort of offender school. The events of the last few days could halt all that speculation. I hope her attorney lets her know, she really is in "big trouble" now!

I think Misty was brought down there to the search to try to scare her into talking. If you look at the video, you don't see her pointing or talking. LE are talking and pointing and I think they are saying "We have what we need little girl. Someone is going to be prosecuted for this. We don't believe you killed Haleigh but until you give us what we need, you are the one we have to prosecute. You need to think long and hard if you can live in prison for the rest of your life." I think she is probably talking today. I HOPE!

I actually think this was a very interesting interview. He talks about calling it a homicide or a death investigation (semantics again) and they aren't looking for a live child anymore. Now Hardy gave us what I believe is hard news yesterday and he will continue to be the one to deliver such information. I think Bowling is playing "good cop" in a way saying that Misty was there in the spirit of cooperation...This is all playing out like a chess match and I, again, thinks its purposeful. I just wonder if the sisters-in-laws are cooperating and if this isn't from their tips. I think a couple of people are shaking in their boots in jail as I type this. All JMO

eta: I think they are watching reactions to all of this by any persons of interests they have honed in on....

Misty's confession is in writing too (kind of crude writing--but it's a confession to aiding a kidnapping). All three cousins were all involved in the kidnapping according to her. I suppose a letter written by her could be used against her, but all this "confession" stuff that's flying around, IMO, needs to stop, and that includes the main stream media.......NO ONE, as far as LE has said, has signed a confession.
