NG is showing old clips of RC. The one the very first day - the crying jag act where he went to the ground - NOTE: NOTHING WRONG WITH HIS NECK! NOT A MARK ON IT

Then the next day - RC walking and there's that bandaid on the neck. I said this real early on - IMO and I think RC "lost it" with LE and they had to taze him.

Then the video of MC and RC walking out of the courthouse (he has the same blue striped shirt on) - neck is clean - no marks, no scars, no nothing.

The "neck" incident has something to do with all this.

Really? Taze him? and then no arrest? The Cummings would have a home run case for a HUGE PAYDAY if anything even similar were to have occurred. Taze him?

You're right he doesn't. He only answers yes to grandma when she asks is it Joe? But the last 30 secs of the call if you go back and listen, its right after the jail recording says "You have 1 minute remaining for this call" Tommy states, "I mean it don't tell HIMnothin, cuz for real guys, HE'LLtry to run!" ... This CANNOT be about Ron, as he's incarcerated. It's the one sentence in the WHOLE conversation that shows it IS NOT RON and is Joe that he is speaking of just as Tommy answered YES to Gma question of was it Joe.

IMHO..IF Tommy is implicating Jo as being the person who killed Haleigh, he is either lying or doesn't know anything other than what someone else has told him...And that person told Tommy a lie..But thats JMO

I believe that RC is trying to get a plea for 15 years but only that part; I don't believe LE is interested in him providing testimony against Misty and Tommy on the drug charges. Ron's lawyer putting this out there might be an attempt to make public believe that LE thinks RC is completely innocent of all Haleigh-related charges, when we know that LE has indicated no such thing. Nothing unusual in my opinion in RC looking for same deal that Hope got, when he must know he could do far worse.

Em, I think if LE had the clothes that Jo "got rid of", and they pointed to Jo's guilt....He wouldn't still be a free man as we speak.

JMO though

Maybe they are waiting on Joe to do some drug deals! Seems that's the only arrests they can be certain of in this case.

Maybe I'm just ignorant here but if Ron pled guilty wouldn't he receive a reduced sentence anyway vs. going to trial and found guilty? He wouldn't need to testify against anyone to get the reduced sentence, right? I don't see where he can offer anything more than the video offers, anyway.

Hope tried that tactic and it didn't work out very well. But Hope didn't know how to work the system. The key is get the deal before you plead.

There really is not any point in locking him up even as long as 15 years. I don't like Ron at all, but if this isn't a drug court case, it's not far from it. I don't know how Florida can afford to give hard time to nickle and dime drug dealers. He and Misty aren't even drug dealers--they just threw together some deals to help support their habits.

As far as what he can offer, that is a good question. He can't offer anything at all in this drug, but we can bet they've made some type of deal involves cases that might come up, cases involving Haleigh.

I thought Art said LE had the letter? Maybe I read that wrong...

Teresa at some point, claimed that Misty dragged Ronald's butt into the dope deals & said that he was only with Misty in an effort to get answers on Haleigh. They even discussed his 'undercover work' in a jail tape. Nancy Grace said that he was the only one who cared. So...how would him pleading guilty in exchange for information on Haleigh, fit into this? Are we supposed to think, that on the very day of his arrest, he got some information from Misty?

These are siblings. Chelsea and Timmy had Misty living with them for some time. OK if you think your sister is guilty of something you don't support her in what she has done. You tell her to get to the truth and you will be there for her to help her she gets out.

But to make money on a deceased child case, by selling your sister's letter? I'm totally without words.

I haven't read the entire thread yet. I missed both showing of NG and I missed JVM.

I think that if this is accurate (the selling of the letter) it gives us great insight into the dynamics of this family. It gives us insight into what LE has had to deal with for over a year. IMHO. Talk about dysfunctional IMHO. More like Haleigh was thrown into a den of snakes the day MC walked into her life. <sigh>

In an interview with Joe, he said all of his stuff was in the girls car and LE took the car....and his stuff.

This Croslin family only knew Haleigh for what 4 months? 120 give or take days before she went missing.
Also, Haleigh spent some of the 120 days with Crystal.
Misty spent days at a time out partying.
Misty and Ronald had many fights where she would leave.

As for the rest of the Croslin family, I am sure they seen her less than Misty did.
I think this is why they have no care in the world about her. She is not their family, they don't know her.

Lack of tears or concern from EVERY of them.. only out to make money off a dead child (IMO).

If I was a lawyer and Ron testified against my client, I'd have a field day with Ron's credibility. I think using Ron as a states witness undermines the credibility of the charges against the others. I think it would be a bad move to give Ron a deal for his testimony. If the SA agrees to this deal, I'm looking for the legal word here. Oh yeah, I'm calling yuckiecacapoopoo.

If Ron was undercover why would he have to even serve 15 years??

The whole selling the letter, etc...makes me need a shower...

Im wondering if LE is setting up Ron and Misty over this plea deal for Ron? Ron says whatever about Misty and Misty finds out what he said -she gets mad and says something ...maybe in a fit of anger she says something that LE was waiting for all this time?. IDK. "Let the fight begin"

I know that I've heard RC's lawyer state that he's working with the state's attorney on a plea deal. I heard that. That's a fact. I never heard him say it was a plea deal based on RC's testimony on or about MC/TC or even HaLeigh. I have read much speculation...but that is all it is, to me.

Now, here is what I THINK the plea deal is all about;

RC is currently in jail and charged with trafficking in drugs. He's not been charged with anything else. The HaLeigh case is still being investigated, while LE has made a point of saying that they have SEVERAL PERSONS OF INTEREST in HaLeigh's case, they have named NO ONE.
My point is this... I firmly believe that his plea deal is going to be based on who RC can give up in the drug world...how many arrests can be made, streets of Putnam County cleaned up... We've seen plenty of arrests already, some right after RC's arrests, where the guy arrested was coming out of a pharmacy in Palatka with a full prescription of pills in hand and a RX pad from a doctor in his possession.
Just a couple of days ago, we had an arrest of a guy who was born in '45...could this be the 'vet' that RC implied he was getting some of the pills from? It's in an area that the UC and MC/RC were driving in, in the UC video...

So, folks, while I wish like heck that a plea deal could be worked out and it's about HaLeigh, I'm seriously doubting that it is, and that it's about DRUGS and taking some of them off of the streets of Putnam County...

Chelsea'a tattoo blows my mind. I wonder what Haleigh's family thinks of the gesture. I can't print what I'd do,

Well...if LE needed names, etc., wouldn't they ask the mastermind? give HER the plea?

Thanks Ger - that makes sense. Please don't take the following wrong as I'm not laughing at you but I got a chuckle reading your post and thinking about how valuable Ronald may be to LE in terms of his knowledge of the names of suppliers, etc., considering he was only along for the ride - Oh yeah, and to get Misty, the mastermind, locked up (all per/TN ). Speaking of the mastermind, wonder why Misty didn't snitch out these suppliers for a deal? Perhaps Ronald never shared that info with her (the mastermind - lol)...
MOO~

WEll, GER, you would know more about that than I, as I'm living so far away. I've heard someone else say that, too, about cleaning up the place. People like Cobra and LP have commented how bad it is there, so dealing with someone like RC, a small time squealer, I guess they could catch a few peeps. IDK, I'd be happy to have him spend decades behind bars after being so irresponsible around his children, but that's just me. I don't deal with druggies every day.

I do agree with those who say NG has a somewhat different tune tonight - although she did block out RC's big drug convo about the guy going to the VA and giving RC half of his take and eating the pills himself. :waitasec:
