What exactly is written information with a third party mean ? Did TH actually have a part in this communication or was it passed on by someone "in the know" ?
Maybe TH and her lawyer are doin a little fishing......?

maybe it was a communication turned up in the recent searches of mc, ds and others? That seems the most likely source to me.

Also I love how Desiree and Kaine keep going on and on about Terri being a compulsive liar but then act like she tells the truth when it is something they wanted to believe.

I am really beginning to get annoyed (LOL) at how hard everyone is being on Desiree and Kaine. I see them as the only voices for Kyron, and really that's all I care about is that this poor little guy be found. I think they both with all their hearts wanted to believe Terri's story, but at this point, after all this information, it's a little difficult for the average person to believe her story. I would want to believe that even if she is a liar, she didn't plot to kidnap or worse hurt Kyron, wouldn't you?

My point is that, because of your Justified and Very Real Fear, you would be willing to pay Any Amount You Could Get Your Hands On ... more than anywhere near Necessary ... because you'd hire the lawyer you'd heard Good Things about on the news.

And that lawyer just might be willing to take advantage of your Very Real Fear by charging you through the nose ... not because he is Worth It ... but because He Can.

I hope all the ...'s and capitalizing isn't getting on your nerves. I'm just having fun doing that because I Am Weird. Plus, I finally spent the day doing things that had to be done, instead of being here, and what do you know! I missed real news! That's enough to make anyone weird, eh?

I feel really sorry for TH's parents if they mortgaged their home and then raided their pensions.

They will have to pay taxes on that money (their pensions) and it could put them into that dreaded AMT tax category.

Then they will have to pay on a mortgage.

Were the parents both teacher's or just the Dad?

Teacher's know how to squeeze a penny, but this will be really hard on them as house prices are way down.

Maybe their house is worth $350,000 but then they would still have to have 20% down in terms of equity which would reduce the loan.

Or maybe they could get a loan for the full amount, but the interest rate would be outrageous.

unfortuately they have been thrown in this position. But parents do for their kids what they need to do. As far as pensions, and I do pension withdrawals within my office, the tax is already taken out before they get the paycheck. In most instances 20% no matter what tax bracket you are in. If you are in a higher tax bracket, then you request higher or not....no matter how we slice it or dice it, her parents are standing beside and behind her, just as Kaine's parents are....just a sad situation all around....

Kaine thinks this money is his? Talk about dishonesty--he would know if she had this money. I'm sure he has his suspicions on where the money came from (her parents/family?). This is nothing more than harassment, IMO.

I would definitely consider doing what Kaine did if I were in his shoes.

I wonder if others wouldn't. I think they would. $350K is a lot of money and if it has come from community property, Kaine OR ANYONE would have the right to be told and ask for appropriate compensation.

I really think we have to think about this.I have no doubt there is no way in my turnip patch she or Kaine could get a loan in less than 30 days on their best day. No way...and the way this is so highly publicized, who would give either of them a loan...if there is anyone on this forum that could get $350,000 in less than 30 days...email mail me....cause I could sho use one right about now!

I personally can't see her getting $350,000 for the story, since the buyer wouldn't know the outcome of the story yet, and it is likely she will be on the unsympathetic side of it all when it comes down. Besides, the entertainment industry is not doing at all well, money-wise, and that would drive the overhead of any potential film right through the rafters. JMO.

If the figure is accurate, it must have come from her folks, which makes me want to know if they'd adopt me. My dad sold off some copper wiring he'd salvaged a couple of months ago and helped me out with a phone bill - I think folks with an extra $350,000 lying around would be a lot less Charlie Brown.
