Does that Fax page say what I *think* it does?

Does it say Miami / Orlando?

Tell me he does not have more than ONE office where he 'practices'.

I ask in all seriousness because I actually can't make it out well on my monitor...

Great eyes Beach! It sure does say Miami / Orlando. On his website (which really says nothing) he shows two offices: one in Orlando and one in Kissimmee.

This might be a stupid question but do we know exactly what lawyers are still on the defense team? We know that Lyon is gone. Mason has another case that he is now working on as well as this one. Baez is still there (or as there as Baez can be). What about the other woman? Is she still a part of the defense team? If so, why is her name not on any of the motions like Lyon, Mason and Baez?

So we have a hearing at 1:30 tomorrow, FOUR depos to be done tomorrow as well. What lawyer is going to do the depo and what lawyer is going to be at the hearing? Do they really trust Baez enough for him to do either solo? Wouldn't they want more than one lawyer at the depos?

Also about the 13th and 14th. Same thing, experts in Florida those days and depos in Tenn those days. What lawyer does what? Do they really trust Baez to do either solo?

Why do I feel that the defense is up to something? It just makes no sense to me for them to have a scheduling conflict like this not once but twice.

MuzikMan got the actual Notice of Taking Deposition on the depos for the Oak Ridge people.
The filed document says the depositions will be taken in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

You are correct, it does say Miami / Orlando.

And yes, that IS a fugly coat-of-arms. LOL

I finally figured out that is supposed to be Lady Justice, I think.

So I edited my post to take it out because I felt all mean and stuff. lolol

I think with all this Defense partnering with universities that JB has actually been cloned and JB[1] will be at the emergency motion hearing while JB[2] will be doing the depos and, original JB[0] will be on GR's boat fishing. The only way this can all work.

I'm sorry for laughing..... but this is really hilarious! :rolling:

But is Lady Justice only representing "Miami and Orlando"???
He does not have an office in Miami???
What is that supposed to mean on his letterhead?

Sad, because JB doesn't care about justice. He only cares about keeping guilty people from paying for their crimes......

I know, my bad. I'll shut up now.

Respectfully bbm.
A little tidbit I'd like to pass on to my fellow WSers----Dr. Vass is known to be incredibly articulate, knowledgeable and highly organized during depositions (and on the witness stand). He is not one to "get his feathers ruffled" and makes an outstanding expert witness. :woohoo:

About the Motion for Emergency Hearing: Umm.....WTH??? I would love inform Baez and Co. of something:
You cannot force a square peg into a round hole.....no matter who your defense experts are. Dr. Lee has a tarnished reputation that follows after him like a trail of forgotton toilet paper. WHY the need to examine case evidence without LE present as standard witness????!!!! Very, very fishy stuff. If your experts are going to follow accepted, professional protocol....why the need for a "special master" as opposed to LE maintaining the integrity of evidence/chain of command?? Hmmm.....something smells in defense-land. ALL JMO, MOO, etc.

Hmmm, maybe he thinks wherever he gets a case he can add it to his letterhead... like trophies. ok sorry.. I will quit sniping now. I really do have serious concerns about all this. It just always feels like the defense is trying to sneak around and slide something in that shouldn't be allowed.

Ok then I've officially lost my mind. My bad. I thought the other Jose's profile was listed on his website.

You aren't the only one! I thought he was once listed on their too! Why are we both thinking he was? I could swear he was listed on JB's website at one time!

Can you IMAGINE what Mark would do to him if it was just him? Ok now my case really has to settle.

Please our members that are local there, park in the parking garages for the hearing. There will be an odd number of street sweeper trucks in the area, picking up all that have been kicked to the curb!

The hearing today will last twenty minutes, tops. The judge has asked the defense each and every time, are there any other matters , any at all that are ripe to be heard, any matters that they need his help on, he gives them the speak now or forever hold your peace look. He said something to the effect of if they come up with twelfth hour situations they may be "Left out in the cold".

BBM and respectfully snipped:
Ah, thank you. This is what I was wondering yesterday, and was too tired to spit out correctly. Thank you. I could not figure out why is this an emergency and how would the Judge feel about it not having been scheduled quite a while back.

When I checked JBs website, he lists two offices, one in Orlando and one in Kissimmee. I didn't know he had two offices.

However, the phone number is the same for both offices... strange.

I must say it will be interesting to watch since my perception has shifted slightly since reading the letters. I now think when CA makes KC cry it's out of frustration and annoyance where I used to think it was because KC missed her or something. Plus knowing that CA appears to be really delusional, and how mad GA is it will be interesting to see them (if GA even comes). PS does Ex Parte = Emergency? TIA

Remember how the defense jumped up and down about how unfair and unheard of it was that the defense experts were not permitted to kibitz with the state experts reviewing the crime scene and autopsy? Dr. Lee went on Nancy Grace and perpetuated that argument by saying that he very very often does exactly that, because afteral, he explained they are all scientists. LOL!!

So now the defense wants to do exactly what they protested so much about, have only one side review the evidence, out of the presence of the opposition.

There is zero chance, literally zero chance of the defense being allowed to do this, if it is outside of what every and any other defendant in the state of Florida has been permitted to do. The judge has made that very clear, Miss Anthony will be treated as all the others are, she will have nothing less, and clearly...nothing more.

Is Linda Kenney Baden death penalty qualified? If yes, perhaps she is going to do the Oakridge lab depositions. No one that is not should be doing them without someone who is sitting in. That we know for sure.

Without a death penalty qualified lawyer at his side at the table I do not even expect that Jose will be permitted to make arguments to the judge in a hearing, so Cheney will need to be in the hearing , imo.

There is no chance of this ever, ever being heard ex parte, and it certainly is no emergency. Although they did not know exactly what date it would be on, the defense certainly could have had a hearing on them being allowed to view the evidence with a special master in order to get a yes or no, then the date it happened would simply be perfunctory fill in the blank.

What constitutes an emergency is an emergent situation which this certainly is not. The judge is getting a little taste of what Judge Strickland was dealing with, lawyers acting , imo, in very, very bad faith.
Am I gonna have to post my Carole King song, It's Too Late Baby, song, again? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt_wegzk0z4[/ame]

Respectfully snipped and bolded. So....the defense considers this an emergency but a grandmother just finding out her granddaughter has not been seen in 30 days is NOT an emergency. Do I have that straight??:waitasec:
