A Mega Thanks to those of you who were in the courtroom and were kind enough to post your comments. It is the icing on the cake. I am very visual, so whatever you can add, even if you think it is not important is wonderful.

LOL have you ever been in a court room? You have the freedom to come and go as you please.....if you are disruptive, the judge can ask you to leave or the baliff.

That's not how our courtrooms here in RI work.....before the judge takes the bench, the sheriff's or bailiff tell everyone to turn off their cell phones, no talking, no gum-chewing, no nothing. If you forget to turn your cell phone off and it rings...they will escort you out of the courtroom. If you're chewing gum, they tell you to take it out and leave as well.

They don't even allow you to read anything if you are a spectator and not a party to the action. if they saw texting, you would be asked to leave.

i actually had to listen to jose questioning cindy on tape to hear her say she thought caylees still alive! i do not think it came out very clear in actual courtroom. i was there. in listening now- i get the feeling she was saying it in relation to " i just can not believe shes dead- i still think of her as alive! " thats not how it came out - more to the sound of i know she is alive i feel it. this is a huge difference! yet, words spoken and recorded in transcripts will forever be as spoken. the words i still think shes alive are shocking- somehow i do not think she means it as not dead- just hard to accept in her mind jmo . i think she shocked both sides with those words-however it was meant to her alone.

the sound in courtroom is hard to hear for me. its so large and has a huge space to fill. masons hearing aid buzzed. maybe i need a hearing aid too!

Nowhere close to how long KC's is. I want to know what kind of super shampoo they use in county jail! Her hair looks smooth and shiny... and I so hate to compliment KC, but she actually looks sorta pretty.

Ok, someone punch me in the throat now.

no punches - she did look pretty. almost looked as if her blouse was open with no bra. a sweet pink color- sort of like a young teen innocent- i think her image change is so when trial comes and prior we do not think of her as she looked before. her hair will be down to the ankles and she will have a white dress on all lace and dainty. do you think of her with the short sexy hair or her new look? see, it works ! cindy looked worn out as she has every right to be. if she was all dolled up and hair perfect everyone would say she was cold-too hard. she looked like she was exhausted as she was i am sure- that worked too.

Yes her hair looks amazing and she got her weight under control. She does look better.

Can't remember how long she's been incarcerated, but my hair grows about an inch every 6 weeks: I know because I can measure the gray roots!!!!

You would be quite surprised how healthy your hair will get by not blow drying or using styling tools, shampooing every day or letting your stylist "trim" the ends each visit. She has the luxery of air dry - not one I think you'd like to trade places for!

littlemissgal, oh boy I hate to say this....with her short hair she was "cute" (I actually have the same hair cut lol :( ) I have to cut it once a month though, lest it gets cousin itt like... and it has more volume...but it grows faster than weeds...that's why I was so surprised to see how fast her hair grows. But with her long hair she does look pretty. I must admit I did not look any further down to notice no bra or unbuttoned shirt. But yes her appearance has improved. (maybe cause her creepy pops told her she was gaining weight)

I hate it though because her new appearance makes her look more "innocent". In the long run it wont matter to a jury, and that makes me feel better.

Melanie McGuire was a small petite and semi-pretty woman, and she's convicted, sentenced, and long forgotten.

Ziggy, she has been incarcerated since Oct 08, but I don't think she has cut her hair since before June/July 08.

And uhh.. Cindy looks like He-man master of the universe. She shoulda stuck with her muffin top. It's not very appealing.

P.S Not that it matters but I do not blow dry my hair or put products in it except a palmaid with vitamins in it. So that makes sense why my hair needs to always be cut. Not like Casey though. My gosh, even my hair that grows freakishly fast is nothing compared to KC.

Oh and thanks guys for not jumping on me, because in the grand scheme of things I do NOT think KC is pretty because she is ugly on the inside.

How do you think she gets those curls at the end? It looks natural to me. Not like her rolling Lincoln logs in her hair to achieve that curl.

What I saw was a BEAUTIFULLY orchestrated cross-examination of Cindy Anthony by Linda Drane-Burdick. Poetry in motion!!!!

This is a taste of what is to come next year: LDB, prepared to the max; Defense team, not even knowing all of the discovery and what it says.

Also BEAUTIFUL: LDB turning down the opportunity to cross-examine Debbie P.
Cheney did her work for her!!!!! I had to fight to keep from laughing out loud!!!!!

.

MM, you are so right. That IS beautiful. Not some stinky convicts hair. I do feel ookie for saying it. Thanks for bringing us back on track.

No problem. A quarter-way through her cross-exam, I could see EXACTLY where she was going! And knew where she would end up!

The funny thing is, I'll bet Baez and Cheney could see it too, and there was NOTHING they could do to stop it.

I lost my dear 14-yr old dog yesterday and didn't have the heart to watch the hearings. Just finished watching the videos and wow oh wow. KC and Co. looked shook up. I think the gravity of this case is finally sinking in. CA and LA's testimony was painful to watch. Still trying to spin, still covering for KC. A better coached CA was on the stand, but Lee's nervous laughter still makes him seem inappropriate....I can't imagine how they will all survive the trial.

Thanks Amil!

Was there anyone waiting to get in that got turned away for lack of space?. Just wondering in case I need to try to get there really early when the trial starts.

Just an FYI, in case this hasn't been answered: There was plenty of room up in the balcony, although I was told it was a little harder to hear things. Great view though! :)

I'm so sorry about your dog. it's very hard I know.

Hey Chaney Mason:

Are you havin fun yet?

:loser: :boohoo:  :smilingface (52):

Reagan I hesitate to post this because it is off topic to the thread but hopefully it will stay long enough for you to read it.

I don't think her hair grows any faster than anyone else's hair. My hair was the same length as hers when she was arrested. My hair is longer than hers right now and I"ve had the ends trimmed.

She just left it alone like I did. No blow drying probably. Nothing but shampoo and conditioner. She probably pulls it back after a shower? Or up in a pony? or up in a bun? Manipulating the hair like that when it is wet, causes curls, waves and such.

I don't pay much attention to how she looks, with the exception of her facial expressions. She needs to work on her stoneface expression, she doesn't have one in her repertoire that I've seen.

I have a feeling the reason Cindy is growing her hair out is because Casey has to, in sympathy with her. They both used to have short hair- twinsy's!

Some random thoughts I’ve had today thinking back on my visit to the courtroom yesterday:
When I saw George get off the elevator before court I noted the purple shirt he was wearing –when Cindy arrived she was wearing a sleeveless flowered dark purple dress and then right before court she put on a light lavender sweater. My thoughts -did she make George coordinate his outfit?

It was not the usual courtroom yesterday. This courtroom is two stories and is so large, that I don’t think the judge would be aware of texting, clothing, or gum chewing. Courtroom 23 was built specifically to be high tech. There are at least 4 large TV monitors and multiple desktop monitors. I would imagine when it comes time for trial they will most likely use the same courtroom that they used for Thursday’s session.

In regard to texting: There were no indications that it was forbidden, just that cell phone ringers are to be turned off. The entire courthouse and all the courtrooms offer free wireless internet so I would guess open-communication is encouraged.

Other random thoughts I had yesterday: ICA of yesterday had no visual elements left from the girl in the Fusion pictures-and, yes, I too thought what a waste-such a pretty girl-what a big waste!!

And my last thought as I was leaving was Cheney are you having fun yet?

And you should have seen the "worried" look on their faces. Not sure if you looked back at the videos, IMO they were thinking oh snit!

I hate to agree but I do. When I saw KC I thought she looked better than she ever has. It pizzed me off. The hair was gorgeous and she's lost weight. I'm certain she still looks the same on the inside though. And that ain't pretty.

Isn't it true, beauty is in the eye of the beholder....:innocent: I look at her and see an odd little troll who constantly smooths her hair in the most irritating fashion.
