Well I would hope he thought she was a good person if he was taking her into his life to care for his child.

I feel certain he did believe and think she was a good person..I sincerely doubt he would intentionally bring someone into his life or his child's life if he thought they were capable of doing harm to himself or to his child, however just because we hope, think and believe a person to be good, doesn't necesarily make it so...Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men..until after the fact....JMO

But he and Desi were through and she discovered she was pregnant and they made a try at it. He didn't ditch her because she was pregnant.

It does appear that he likes women that already have a child, though.

Terri in her pictures looked really cute until about May. I wonder what happened then?

Perhaps she stopped nursing? I have a 2 yr old.. from her birth till she weaned at about 13/14 months of age, I was still losing weight and was as thin as I've ever been as an adult, fitting into about a size 6. Once she weaned, I started gaining weight rapidly and the same time certain parts started looking not as nice as they had.. Plus just having a toddler wears you out and sucks up any time you ever had for personal grooming.

Did anyone notice Terry's eyes roll back in her head on the first video
that we saw of the family?
I didn't notice til I saw it mentioned on you tube.

last time I saw this eye action was Tommy Croslin.........is it drugs?????

Is that normal speed on the video? Looks like the eyeballs are going up and wiggling around a little while rapidly blinking with the eyes open. Kaine blinked about 5 times during that movement and Terri never fully blinked once. I tried to do that, and it was very uncomfortable. Her upper lip is moving at the same time. She doesn't appear about to cry tears, but maybe her nose was about to run?

i think it sorta looks like she is trying to keep her contacts from being washed out of her eyes because her eyes are watering or tearing up...

It's a continuous loop. TH rolls her eyes up once. KH blinks once and squeezes her shoulder once. Then it's played over and over again. All of the rolls, blinks and squeezes are the same.

It might be interesting to find out what they're talking about during that bit and if the eyeroll could be connected to something that was said. Now it looks to me like she reacts to Kaine's squeeze. As in, "A supportive gesture? Yeah right."

Interestingly, I remember Kaine doing an eye roll in one of the first family interviews. I was watching the news on the TV, and thought to myself what was that all about. One of the officers was speaking in front of him when it happened. I have gone back since and looked at every news casts video I can find of those AND I CAN'T FIND IT! Drove me nuts, so I just gave up. Because now, I would find it interesting what the officer was saying when that happened. I'm guessing the one I'm looking for was probably from a different angle, because the officer blocks him at times in many of the ones I've seen. Oh well.

Maybe the cop said, "Your children are safe at Skyline School." Even I roll my eyes when I hear that one.

thank goodness for the new camera system...

I do that awkward looking eye thing all the time - dry contacts get out of place and I apparently do little weird blinking eye rolls to get them back centered and clear. I don't even notice that I'm doing it, but if I see video of myself I'm always a bit horrified to see all the weird contact-moving eye rolls I do to keep the suckers in place.

We don't know if Terri wears contacts though. I don't recall seeing any pics of her with glasses, but that doesn't mean anything either.

I respectfully disagree. If I found out that my husband was plotting to have me murdered and my son was missing, my husband and our marital problems would be the last thing on my mind.

I'd be out the door of course but I'd be thinking of my son and only my son and I'd be focusing everything I could on getting my husband arrested and forcing him to talk. I would not be trashing him and embarassing him in the media spotlight by revealing personal information about him.

Why? Because if I did that and he was so spiteful as to have been willing to have me killed I'd do anything to get my kid back. I'd throw myself at his mercy and beg if I had to. I would not be talking trash about him and putting him down knowing that in doing so I'd likely never see my kid again.

It makes absolutely no sense to me what K is doing. He is simply sealing his child's fate IMOO> If she does have something to do with him being missing she will never talk.

As mad as I would be I would approach my husband with my family and extend some sort of effort at reaching the person I once felt I knew. I'd try desperately to make him do the right thing.

I don't get Ks strategy at all.

And how do we know that Kaine hasn't done all the things you assume he has not? Like beg? He does not appear to be above begging for the return of his only son. As for Kaine talking trash about Terri...what trash?

When I cry, which happily is very seldom, I roll my eyes upward in order to keep from spilling tears. I also am apt to roll my eyes upward when muttering, "Lord give me strength." (This is a technique I use when my son proposes something extremely ridiculous, e.g. going to Chile for southern hemisphere snowboard season, or getting a used Hummer.)

I don't put much stock in eye movements, especially if I don't know a person. Sometimes an eye roll can be totally innocent. Other times it might mean sarcasm or disgust or any number of things. I don't think I qualify as a judge to decide what it does mean. I only know what it means when I do it.

I had a friend (now deceased) who had a facial tic from childhood in which he rolled his eyes. His father would beat him for it.

He told me how once, when he was 9 years old, he was playing baseball, and up at bat. He rolled his eyes, and his father came onto the field and grabbed him and beat him, screaming at him, calling him names, telling him all the people there were looking at him and had seen what he'd done.

It didn't stop the tic, of course. In fact, things like that just made it worse as his anxiety over it increased.

Kids made fun of him during childhood. Adults made fun of him in adulthood.

So, do you think Terri has a tic causing her to roll her eyes when she is stressed?

I didn't see her roll her eyes once in any of the video or photos we've seen of her after that. And she sure has reason to be stressed to the max. I did notice the persistent blank stare though. It's creepy to me. jmoo

I DID see TH roll her eyes during the first PC and thought it very strange. However, I don't believe eye rolling has been scientifically connected to kidnapping and/or murdering children, but I may be wrong.
