I know it's aggravating right now, but HHJP is not failing Caylee. He is making sure that needle sticks hard in Casey's arm and there is no chance of her getting out of it. As much I hate what he's doing, it really is in Caylee's best interest that her murderous mother has nothing to appeal down the road.

Mamabear, I couldn't agree with you more.. yet ICA seems to be her usual cool as a cucumber self. I just can't believe THIS is the behavior of an innocent person. Not going to fly with the jury, IMO.

See the thing is, I don't think he cares one bit. I don't think he has ANY intention of practicing law when this is done.

I believe he envisions some big old TV career on TruTV, HLN, Telemundo, Univision and as a "Very Special Guest Commentator" on Geraldo!

And unfortunately, due to the notariety, he'll do just that.

Jose, in my humble opinion is not arguing the science...he is arguing...??? I agree with JA, there is no way to handle this...I understand his frustration it is a very human response to this type of lying smarm.

HHJP, I think knows he has a sociopath in the courtroom(you guess who... ) and how do you handle sociopaths... :dunno:

Despite us being concerned about "HHJP giving Baez too much leeway - can I suggest HHJP knows more about appellate issues than we do? He wants decisions that will not be challenged when ICA is found guilty.

Getting breakfast ready for elderly parents, getting their meds, and all the other things associated with my mornings, I turn the volume up really loud on my older computer and listen to the hearings as I work.
But having to run to the next room to 'refresh' each time the vid is timed out is a bit frushtrating to say the least.

I had never ventured over to CNN to see if they had live vid of these hearings.
Amazing Video on my old computer and so far I haven't had to 'refresh'....Thank you soooo Much!

I personally think HHJP should have stopped the hearing today. He should have allowed the prosecution time to depose this witness and Vass again. I'm not in agreement with what is going on at all. This is not fair.

I agree.

The instant gratification of seeing JB slapped down is nice, but HHJP's job is to make sure KC gets a fair trial. And KC getting a fair trial means that Caylee is getting justice.

HHJP has not failed Caylee; he is making sure her accused killer gets a fair trial so that if KC is convicted, she can't level the claim that she was treated unfairly.
