I have no problem with Judge Perry's ruling... I do have a problem with JA allowing JB to put him in this situation. IMO, he should know better by now! He can not play nice with JB and he constantly puts himself in a positition (trusting nature maybe?) to be deceived by JB. He needs to just stop working with the defense all together. If they don't follow the rules of discovery... no more stipulations... file for sanctions! He can not trust JB at his word... it has been proven time and time again. That saying "Fool me once... shame on you... fool me twice... shame on me" comes to mind.

I do want to hug JA because I don't even want to imagine having to work around someone like JB... but he needs to stop trusting him and stop allowing him to put him in this situation. It surely can not be good for his health to become so emotional all the time.

I can not stand Jose and I have full faith that JB will mess up at least twenty times at trial where he will be held financially responsible for his antics. It's clear that he has no respect for the law and the rules of preparing for trial. I hope that he never works again after this trial!

RBBM. JA is not trusting Jose, imo, but was putting his trust in HHJP.

maybe he is being more lenient because there is no jury and BP can weed out the bs.

I do believe that all this evidence will come in at trial... ha ha..allow the jury to decide..
Bye Bye Ms. Anthony!

You wrote the thoughts right out of my head-Dr. Vass may come back and do the electric boogaloo over all of this dilly dally.
The evidence is coming in.
And I will further speculate that the jury will uderstand it and it will be believable. After the OJ DNA, I think our culture is prepared to accept that science is leaps and bounds beyond, and this CAN be done.
Of course, GA saying he smelled a decomposing body in the trunk, YM, CA, even Lee's take of an odor he could not even describe will prolly be good enough. Oh yeah, and KC confirming that an animal (though she fibbed about what kind of animal) was dead in the car....
Just ask the simple question of the jury, Mr. Ashton...If KC's car smelled so badly on the 26th solely due to trash, why had she not removed the trash by the 27th? Surely, if it was unknown to her what smelled so bad, she would have inspected the car, found the culprit (the trash bag) and tossed it, right?

TIme for the SA to file a Bar complaint. Past the time for the Bar to take action. :cow:

Personally I think the bar will take action after the trial...and at least one appeal...

Let's get ICA safely tucked away...then we can deal with Mr. Baez

I am sick!

This talk about whether or not studies have been done on decomposition of children...

Children are not supposed to...oh never mind....I am going to explode

Even sicker is how there is ABSOLUTELY no emotion, disgust or reaction from mommy dearest at the testimony of decomp of children......buried or not buried.

:sick::sick::sick::sick: I appreciate judge preserving appeal, but this was low of defense to agree to get off the hot seat, then have a new selective understanding today. Bravo for JA when judge recommended never agreeing to stipulations and JA saying, "I WON'T!"

Does anyone think that when JA does his cross, that he will hang this so called scientist, Furton, out to dry?

maybe he is being more lenient because there is no jury and BP can weed out the bs.

I was thinking that too...it may be differenet if a jury were the audience but the judge does his own research anyway.

I'm lost...why does HHJP keep over-ruling JA?

I think because he already said he is going to allow the prosecution to depo him again. So, I think the judge thinks his objections are moot. JMO...

OT but have they had a break yet? I need a potty break and going to try to grab a bagel from Au BonPain

lunch break starts at 12:00 pm est.....so just a little bt more...I had to leave --- I couldn't wait anymore....

Someone nudge me when this witness is done. He is on mute.

This may be a Frye hearing but does anyone actually think that HHJP has not already conducted MASSIVE research on his own????

Don't fret over the DT being allowed this seemingly undeserved leeway.

IMO, HHJP already knows that he is going to allow all of this in at trial. He's just giving the DT their "turn".

How anyone can say the judge is biased toward favoring the State is silly. He's bending over backward to allow all rules to be broken if favor of ICA. How sweet. Sorry, Caylee.

I personally think HHJP should have stopped the hearing today. He should have allowed the prosecution time to depose this witness and Vass again. I'm not in agreement with what is going on at all. This is not fair.

But that's just it - HHJP has said the SA can re-depose this witness.....

I was really trying to listen and understand what this witness is saying. Really trying to understand the argument the defense is making-like a juror...all it does is make me want to :pullhair:

Does anyone think that when JA does his cross, that he will hang this so called scientist, Furton, out to dry?

and on a much more clear way....jb drives me nuts!!!!!! and that pen!!!:maddening::maddening::maddening::banghead:

me thinks....judge P is allowing this nonsense.....because he has already decided that he is going to allow this( air samples....etc...) into the trial

jb you are aware that air samples taken from the trunk of the car, do you find on this where the air samples were taken - do you see them there?
KF no it talks about the interior of the car but not the trunk itself

Excellent point. If it was the garbage, why didn't she take it out! :floorlaugh:

Because Hizhonor actually WANTS this witness to appear in trial against Dr Vass? I bet Mrs Vass is home watching this right now, and taking copious notes. :)
