Diane Dimond is saying that Baez is expected to use his other 2 strikes to open up his appellate possibilities. She says he's playing a "chicken" game with his strikes.

I was just wondering how long it has been since Casey has even seen a picture of Caylee after looking at some of yours. I wonder if she will have any reaction at all when she sees a picture of Caylee during trial.
I didn't touch it. I wanted to, But I didn't. :crazy:Alright, all you snickerers... :nono: Settle down over there...
How obvious is it that JB is trying his best to keep the number of jurors below 12? Mister Baez, we have your number.
I kind of feel that way too. And, even though HHJP challenged JB to cite just one case that states he can question all of them before they're sworn in, who's to say that some lawyer in the future won't be citing this case when objecting to this procedure. On an emotional level, I heartliy agree. BUT that scenario could lead to problems in the appeals process. I think JB might have a good point in his objection to having to allow the jury to be sworn in before he gets the chance to question the entire panel and then make his preemptory challenges. That is the usual way it is done anyway.
There are 69 total pot jurors in the pool. This one being questioned is the 52nd.
What a thought! Till DECEMBER of next year! ARGH! We'll have to get a case of Preparation H for everyone!
I thought he was the coastguard guy? This jury selection process has addled my brain.it-shay!
