I got these 2 together...:floorlaugh:

the one on the right is priceless...I would hang them on my wall but I am afraid my family would think I am nuts...it is a nice reminder of how things are...

I think there are only about 7 and possibly 6 viable ones tomorrow...LDB said one of those brought in today had some kind of judgment or case against them.

I am trying to figure out who will strike who and in the states case, how many. I would think the State would love to have the last juror approved on the jury and not an alternate...therefore they would have to use all three of their strikes plus the one from the DT....I don't know if they will do that, because then that will mean no alternates and I think there is only about 6-7 viable ones tomorrow.

3281: info systems granny with yorkie (foreman material)

I should add unless the defense strikes 3281 first, then it's a mute point. I don't know who gets to go first.

I'm pretty sure the DT can't strike 3281 first.. As I understand it, they have to strike from the top 12. Then as a juror is stricken from that group the next alternate moves up..and only then can they be struck. Since she's #16, she can ONLY get on if the state uses all of theirs and the defense uses their last one. The only way they are going to be able to strike her is to not use all of their strikes for this jury and then strike her with one of their alternate strikes (and IMO, she'll be the first alternate the defense strikes. If they use their strike, and the state uses all 3 of theirs, then she'd be on the jury. I'm quite impressed with how this turned out actually. The defense is now stuck between a rock and a hard place. Do they use their last strike and risk getting her on the jury, or do they not use it and wait to strike her as an alternate, thereby risking a chance of appeal (I've read that leaving strikes "on the table", so to speak, hurts an appeal) :twocents:

But they get "extra strikes" for the alternates. Some heard 1 extra strike per alternate, so if he wants 4 alternates, that will be 8 more strikes total on top of the 4 we have now. Even if they only get 2 each for the alternates, that will be 8 strikes total left.

Well all I can say is that attorneys area of law must not deal with jury trials, haha! He probably heard what case and tried to get out while the gettin was good...

Having watched the defense very carefully and thinking by their questions I suspect they are going to use a "sybil" defense, multiple personalities caused by alleged sexual abuse by GA or LA. I bet they say the "nanny" was one of her alters. JMHO

I think the two Psychiatrists that examined her would have noticed that, if she had multiple personalities. The DT didn't want to use them as witnesses, so it's a safe assumption they found her stone cold sane. Just selfish and evil.

I don't think the DT is going with an accident, or ZHANG. I think the abuse is supposed to cover the lying, then they are just going to try reasonable doubt, someone else could have done it. ICA will not admit any guilt, but she won't know who took Caylee. I really think that's all. Try to blame someone else because ICA doesn't know where she left her! JMO!

And how's that working for you so far Defense Team? How many PJ's walked in for the last ten days and said - Oh Hey - I think she is absolutely innocent?

Rut Roh - ummm - nobody at all except your phony callers on HLN?

After all of your media blitzes - let me repeat - NONE!!

How many said "GUILTY? I lost count after TEN!!!

Ironic isn't it?...I don't think one pj watched that 48 hours with the mock jury on it....LOL! That was a waste of the defense's time! :floorlaugh:

Right, but they can only use those on the alternates... They can't use them on the main jury panel (at least that is how I understand it) and if they don't use their strike on the main panel, they can't save it and use it on the alternates... They use it or lose it. So if the defense uses their remaining strike for the main jury, then the state can get #3281 on to the jury by using all of their strikes.

The state doesn't need to use all of their strikes, but they most certainly will if the defense uses their strike so that they (the state) can get this woman on the jury. (and I REALLY think she'd be FABULOUS for the state..)

My prediction is that tomorrow the state will use at the 2 strikes and the defense will not use any, leaving 12 jurors and 2 potential alternates...plus whatever alts they get tomorrow.. Then when it's time to strike the alternates, the DT will strike #3281 right off the bat. (and IF the DT uses their strike, then the state WILL use their 3rd strike and get her on the jury.. Leaving 12 jurors and whatever potential alternates they get tomorrow)... There's also a chance they won't use any at all, and a slim chance they'd use only 1 (I don't think they want #3016 because I believe he's not for the DP and he's the first alternate so they would strike someone else and then immediately strike him..)

I thought it was 1 strike per side for the alternates. (not a strike per side per alternate... we could be here forever and NEVER seat a jury if that's the case)

Again, just my :twocents: on how it's going to play out tomorrow.. I could be TOTALLY wrong, but that's what I would do (and I'm not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last month) and I'm basing this on my limited (possibly flawed) knowledge of the process.

Death Row Inmates

If Casey Anthony is found guilty of murdering Caylee Anthony, she may be sentenced to death. Should she become a death row inmate,Casey Anthony will be the fourth woman to be executed in the state of Florida since 1848.

The following statistics on executed inmates in Florida (male and female) should provide insight into Casey Anthony's future:

* There have been 67 executions in the state of Florida since the death penalty was reinstated in 1976.
* 12 years is the average length of stay on Florida's death row
prior to execution.
* 44 years is the average age of the Florida prisoner at the time of
execution.
* Death row inmates are only permitted to shower every other
day
. * Women on Death Row are housed at Lowell Correctional
Institution Annex in Lowell, FL.
* In 2000, Governor Jeb Bush signed legislation implementing lethal injection as an alternative method of execution in the state of Florida

IT will backfire!! She should of taken plea or 2nd degree!!! Now shes playing with her life. moo!!!

Can you even imagine G & C's performances if they have to plea for Casey's life???????????????? Hollywood will be calling...

And then how are they going to turn around and give a statement for the victim, their own grandchild

Jurors may be very sympathetic towards them, a gd dead and a dtr possibly facing death....

I am just not counting my chickens before they hatch.......I'm just not that confident about the jury throwing the book at her.....

Of course, we know we all could!!!

It is a very sad, sad feeling to see a woman who when her child, her flesh and blood, being found in a "lot with duct tape covering her mouth" and she doesn't have ANY emotion! A stranger has more compassion about Caylee than her own mother. To me, that is one of the most sickening parts of this case. I would be on the floor wracked with grief. I would be physically ILL. She looked like a college student writing notes on a boring lecture. I pray to the Universe that there is justice and swiftly starting Monday.
...and if I saw correctly, she mouthed what appeared to be "no"...or "gone" or something to that effect and I couldn't help but think to myself, does she honestly believe SHE is making the decisions??!! I hope the defense is reading here...it doesn't serve their client to be sitting there appearing like this is another day at the office. She had better d*mn well sit and listen to what the witnesses have to say or she can kiss her life away.

Daily Routine for Florida Death Row Offenders

Death Row & Death Watch cells:
A Death Row cell is 6 x 9 x 9.5 feet high. Florida State Prison also has Death Watch cells to incarcerate inmates awaiting execution after the Governor signs a death warrant for them. A Death Watch cell is 12 x 7 x 8.5 feet high.

The women on Death Row are housed at Lowell Correctional Institution Annex in Lowell, FL.

Meals:
Death Row inmates are served meals three times a day: at 5:00 am, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Food is prepared by prison staff and transported in insulated carts to the cells. Inmates are allowed plates and spoons to eat their meals. Prior to execution, an inmate may request a last meal. To avoid extravagance, the food to prepare the last meal must cost no more than $40 and must be purchased locally.

Visitors:
All inmate visitors must be approved before visitation is allowed. Questions regarding an inmate's visiting day(s), visiting hours, and special visits should be directed to the Classification Officer responsible for the inmate at the inmate's assigned facility. Questions may be sent by letter, e-mail or by telephone. Members of the news media may request Death Row inmate interviews through the Department of Corrections Public Affairs Office at (850) 488-0420. The inmate must agree to the interview and the interview will be non-contact.

Showers:
The inmates may shower every other day.

Security:
Death Row inmates are counted at least once an hour. They are escorted in handcuffs and wear them everywhere except in their cells, the exercise yard and the shower.
They are in their cells at all times except for medical reasons, exercise, social or legal visits or media interviews. When a death warrant is signed the inmate is put under Death Watch status and is allowed a legal and social phone call.

Mail, Magazines & Entertainment:
Inmates may receive mail every day except holidays and weekends. They may have cigarettes, snacks, radios and 13" televisions in their cells. They do not have cable television or air-conditioning and they are not allowed to be with each other in a common room. They can watch church services on closed circuit television. While on Death Watch, inmates may have radios and televisions positioned outside their cell bars.

Clothing:
Death Row inmates can be distinguished from other inmates by their orange t-shirts. Their pants are the same blue colored pants worn by regular inmates.

The executioner:
Is a private citizen who is paid $150 per execution. State law allows for his or her identity to remain anonymous.

Ita so much. Today she just acted like im one of the legal team lol!:floorlaugh:
She must be nuts!!!!

I saw Mr. George give a hooty laugh as soon as that left JB's mouth. No way that's going to happen. Giving their witnesses in the order that the SA is going to have them testify is almost like handing them a map with the battle plan drawn on it.

It would be quite funny to give them a jumbled list.

I am watching the end of the hearing. Boy, the DT is terrified of what exhibits the SA will have for their opening statements. There is so much to choose from! What would the DT have? Pics of ICA with Caylee I suppose, pretending to be a good mom.
