I asked Kimster to move it over for me, as I feel this is a more appropriate thread for it, but we cannot change the time stamp. The only way to bring it up current is for me to bump it, so here it is.

I am so sorry. About your sister. Most of us, if we are honest with ourselves, know a Casey in our lives. They are like a tornado running through the countryside...only it is human lives that they are interested in destroying. Period. It makes me sad. Even sadder that justice has been overly-delayed by Casey Anthony and her "entitlement" to a fictious defense.

With respect to this "wonderful mom" stuff...doesn't surprise me that ICA made sure that's what people thought. This is a girl who's entire being is based on the shining facade people look at when they see her. But I think we got a glimpse of the real ICA via Melissa Englund. ICA didn't care what ME thought of her, and that's why we see ME feeling awkward about leaving an unsupervised toddler, and having to help Caylee tie her own shoes when she was struggling. I think Caylee got the best of ICA when ICA had an audience. When there was no audience, I don't think ICA gave a rat's you know what about that child.

I don't know? KC truly HATES JA. She is fearful and intimidated by him. She is afraid that he wants to kills her. When facing JA she will be more prone to lose it on the stand and let the true KC come out. If she takes the stand I don't think the SA will really care about the specific details of what she says. After all she hasn't said anything to date that hasn't been a lie. Why expect that to stop now? What they want is emotion and reaction and her true face in front of the jury. So I think she would get JA.

I agree, JA would drive her mad on the stand-- I think he'd object so often she couldn't get a word in edgewise. She couldn't answer truthfully to anything and Ashton knows what's what. (of course LDB could do this equally well, imo)

I'm thinking KC's had a very emotional day, and I hope they didn't give her anything to make her feel better.

Casey has always been the manipulator, the power player. I just do not see her as some zombie from parental abuse of any kind. She has found a way to get everything she wants without working, without responsibility, without one thought for anyone else. Cindy's family has seen her spoil this girl for years.

If she had even hinted at abuse to Cindy...George would not only have been out of the house but in jail. But it suited Casey to have them both there to play off each other...to con and collect from. Daddy to clean her car every weekend. To run her errands. Grandma to rip off with bad checks. And Mom who would ALWAYS take her side.

If Caylee had drowned, Casey could have just told them anything and in days Cindy would be blaming the pool manufacturer. But Cindy would not forgive that precious little face wrapped in duct tape, reeking of chloroform. So Casey needed Caylee to be in that swamp...until enough time had passed for a story she COULD pass off.

Reading these emails again...THAT is a real picture of the real family dynamic. Rick Pleesa doesn't have to guess. He and his parents have seen Caylee bloom into a monster before their very eyes.

This is no powerless abused child. This is THE power player of that family...who became the chief abuser.

ty! I had not read those, as they were pre my membership here. The only news I had on this case back then were from the MSM, no crime forums and certainly no docs/emails/etc.

That was certainly enlightening and reading I highly recommend for others who were not members back when Caylee's case first broke. This makes me wonder what other things I have completely missed. Since joining, I, of course, have access to all the things gleaned from everyones sleuthing and from the sunshine law. Before that I had only the nightly news to go on.

I don't think we've heard the last of 'this'... I think the direction of the defense will move and flow along with the blows and bolsters the DT thinks come their way.

I think the defense of ICA will appear almost schizophrenic because of it!

I can't wait to hear from Lauren Gibbs, Kristina Chester, and the other friends that ICA has known longer (Ryan Paisley etc.).

Jessie Grund's testimony will be POWERFUL... especially the part of Casey breaking off their engagement because he loved Caylee more than Casey! That should cause the jurors some restless nights.

Cannot wait to hear from Lee... his testimony may seem like a 'set back' to the prosecution in some ways (because of whatever it was he did- "Lee knows what he has done") whether that was deleting the files from the computer, playing doctor or worse with ICA, or what- I have no idea, but he did something according to his use immunity deal (maybe completely unknowingly). But in many other ways Lee could prove to be a lightning bolt aimed straight at the defense... we shall see.

I am very interested for the foundation to be set for the fact that ICA used several individuals (early on) to watch Caylee so Casey could go God knows where, and do God knows what. This will be outside of the realm of her dysfunctional family, and far removed from the events of June 2008, and will speak volumes to the jury how she would pawn Caylee off on anyone she could manipulate.

Can't wait for the jury to hear how Jessie Grund stepped up to the plate for the baby even after he found out he had been railroaded by ICA in regards to paternity! That should prove another restless night for the jurors.

The LE and FBI testimony will be insane. These guys are seasoned veterans and not involved in some plot with Roy or George, and the Forensic evidence (while complex) will help make things very clear to the jury.

The one thing that will come across indisputably by the end of the SAO case will be that Casey is a psychopath. When Shirley Please (God bless the sweet old lady) gives her testimony, and the jury hears this sweet old lady say that she loves Casey but doesn't like her and that maybe "Casey hated Cindy more than she loved Caylee"... well... get the papers for permanent incarceration or the death warrant prepared, because her testimony is going to seal the deal. I don't care if the stealing ever comes in, these jurors are smart enough to figure things out to the fact that ICA NEVER HAD A JOB during all this time but was shopping up a storm!

Cindy and George and Lee have finally left the building... they are on their cruise, and their ship has sailed... very poignant vacation they took... and last but not least, the tides in Florida have changed.

I only hope during this time, that at some point the Anthony's sincerely and with remorseful hearts apologize to: Tim Miller, John Allen, Uri Melich, Roy Kronk, Scott Bolin, Richard and Jessie Grund (their beautiful wife and mother too), Ricardo Morales, Tony Lazzaro, Amy Huizenga, Annie Downing, and ZENEIDA FERNANDEZ GONZALES (and anyone else they dragged through the mud, falsely accused, or injured)!

I wonder who will visit ICA on Death Row or in Prison... any guesses?

Astute of you to notice. Incidentally, ICA, IIRC, mostly told three people (the lady in prison, Myra (?) in letters, Jesse G. and Tony L. about any real type of abuse in her home) about her "abuse." To TL it was that her father was physically abusive. In her letters in jail (after being rightfully arrested, imo) she says she is only just remembering the abuse by her father...and to JG, IIRC it was never implied that her father did anything close to oral....with her.

Where is Little Bitty going with this? Why cry now at the end of your mother's testimony (adjourned for the day, not the actual end) unless, you are one of those kids at 16 with Winnie the Pooh stuff in your room, still acting like you deserve to be "breast fed" at this point? It makes me sick. She is just lazy. I know plenty of molestation victims (I am one of them, not by family) and I still got up and went and still go to work and this is just...it makes me sick. I never stole. I never raided my parents bank account. She is unsympathetic to me. I think her tears are a tantrum, like other posters have made notice of. She cries for herself...ONLY. Period. And that IMO is a fact.

ICA looked angry to me when her Mother was crying. Any loving Daughter would also cry seeing their Mother cry like that. Not ICA... Stone face. I'm sure the jurors will notice.

ICA held court around her, she was in her element, the files, the depos, the copious note talking, all those lawyers buzzing around her, all those important busy people cooling their heels in the hallway waiting on little princess Casey Anthony - going through all her binders, flipping madly through the depos if she thought she could catch anyone out on a tiny discrepancy, the b1tching and moaning about her clothes that her mother was bringing in for her, the laughing and joking and flirting with any and all of her male attorney's and all the while discussing the decomposition of her little baby in the back of her damn car.

That's the real ICA and that stupid girl, riding on the back of Baez's hubris, forgot the world was watching.

Contrast THAT girl with the girl we see in court - Sorry ICA but people don't forget.

ITA: Up until then (6 weeks ago when the Anthony's found out the DT strategy) CA was going along with ICA's "program". Not any more.

I'm wondering if Cindy's visit the day before Mother's Day was a last ditch attempt to reason with Casey and talk some sense into her over the new defense strategy.

I don't know if Casey's breakdown was an act to garner sympathy from her DT or if she was forced to acknowledge the heartbreak that Cindy has endured over losing Caylee, and that she was unable to tolerate it.
