I think CA is describing what she was thinking back THEN. I think it's just the way she relates what happened in the past to the best of her recollection, by going back in time in her mind and speech.

Honestly, I think KC lost her two best witnesses six weeks ago.

aha, Cindy believed Casey til 6 weeks ago when Baez or the State said Casey and Baez were going to throw her under the bus. her and George. No more support to Casey. Cindy will tell the truth now. Cindy believed there was a Zanny til Casey told this huge lie to Baez.

Please remember what George said ... he had not heard that Caylee had drowned in the pool on the 16th of June....so no way Cindy knew.
6 weeks ago she found out that they were going to alleged the sexual abuse, but said nothing to them about Caylee drowning in the pool! She quit looking because of the claim of sexual abuse, not because she knew of Caylee drowning!

Oh SNAP!!
Cindy is there for Caylee...no she doesn't want her daughter to die, but she is clearly not accepting this defense, nor defending it!
