Hey guys, I'm just watching what occurred thus far this morning. I won't be able to watch in real time today.

I wanted to clarify something after watching CA's testimony from last Friday. From what I can see and IMO, the Myspace message, is not coming in. It was objected to based on being more prejudicial than probative and the judge sustained that objection. I don't see how it could come in now. I am upset by this because the "jealousy" mentioned is one way to show motive. The other way, via AL not wanting a baby around or kids period, has not been shown and it doesn't look like the state intends to show that.

This bothers me because listening to Richard Hornsby, he states this sounds like an aggravated manslaughter case based on the fact that casey was described as a great mom. I think motive would act to temper that - that she was so jealous of her mom's bond with Caylee that she had to sever it and punish her mom, or that she wanted to be free so badly, so she could be with Tony, that Caylee had to go.

Anyhow, does anyone want to give me the important highlights from today thus far?

Arrrrgh. Nursebeeme, you just reminded me. Cross. THAT should be pleasant. I hope Cindy recovers enough to not let JB mix her up.

Holy Holy Holy Cow

I had forgotten how hard Christina worked to get info from ICA. Did you hear her keep reassuring ICA with "we are on your side" ... Just like DCS after the meltdown - "you were right, I was wrong..." Christina sure knew from experience exactly what kind of spiteful ... she was dealing with! Bravo Christina

Casey just testified for the Prosecution and got herself a guilty verdict with the phone call

Was that ICA staring at her mother with Baez as she left the stand? And what's that she's furiously writing down (again!)? It seems to me to be something she wants Baez to give CA! I thought the same thing on Sat.l

This is exactly what I was thinking.

Is Baez allowed to do that? In fact, is Casey allowed to pass notes on to anyone?

Does anyone else sit here watching and listening to all of this wondering to themselves, "why are we even having a trial??" It just seems so so soso GLARINGLY obvious! Through all of this why is she NOT pleaing!?

Watching all of this makes me think ICA truly relishes and enjoys her mother's grief. As if she "won".

That jail house phone call really sickens me. It was more chilling hearing it today in court, while seeing CA react and ICA stone faced. I cannot get over the gall and audacity of ICA only wanting to talk to TL or her belief that the police aren't listening to what she is saying. I'm sorry but when a missing child is involved, the police are doing everything they can, following every lead to find the child, who is innocent in the whole situation. No matter what they think of the mother, the child is the #1 priority.

If I had just heard of this call, I would think it is fiction, its that unbelievable. I could never, in a million years, imagine everything that occurred in the call. How she treats everyone, the things she is saying that make no sense, her lack of concern for her daughter. Its incredulous.

We have seen many "different types of behaviors" from the Anthony Family over the past 3 years, and there has been much discussion about the "dysfunction" in this family ...

:waitasec:

But after seeing CA's heartbreaking testimony this morning and testimony from Saturday, and GA's heartbreaking testimony last week as well as having the "bus" headed straight in his direction with abuse allegations ...

I believe that the "DYSFUNCTION" was ICA and the "dysfunction" for the family was solely instigated by ICA !

:cow:

Well we do have ICA and Christina talking about a MYspace page on that tape maybe thats a hole that will allow Myspace to enter ..Just wondering

Lord have mercy, I thought poor Cindy was going to vomit while on the stand. It is so heart-wrenching to see her like this. She still says a few things that seem "iffy", like when she says she thought it odd that Amy knew exactly where Tony's apt. was. Why would that be odd, and why does that even need to be said? It's almost like cindy is still trying to implicate Amy... I dunno... maybe I'm wrong . Then, there was also the drier sheet thing. Bill Shaefer (sp?), himself, almost started crying when he was describing how emotional Cindy was on the stand. I've been crying like a baby, myself. Casey makes me SICK. That phone call that was played just made me SO angry...grrr... ok, I'll shut up now.

The jury will have a lot of trouble getting passed that phone call.

I agree. B/c it does not square with the DT theory. She was in jail, she would have been safe and free to tell LE what "really happened". Not swear and rage at three people who were trying to help her. Kristina, at least, could have been told the "truth" of what George "did".

That's from an angle of the evidence. Never mind what that call paints her to be for the jury. A stone cold, sociopathic monster. IMO

Will JB or CM do the cross of Cindy? IMO the DT desperately needs an Andrea Lyon right about now.

gitana - CA commented during testimony several times ICA "lied" "lying again" etc.

Played 911 tapes, very emotional testimony from CA while ICA seemed very unemotional throughout. At one point CA was so distraught she broke down and needed a brief recess to compose herself.

Big news of the morning - All 911 calls were played an transcripts were synced up for jury to view as they listened. Also jail tape with ICA more worried about obtaining Tony's number was played.
