I hope this is an OK thread.

I have never watched this Dr. D show before, but it happens to follow Nancy. So alas, I now find myself watching it.

LKB is on now pushing absolute bs. She now has lost all credibility.

The show is very pro "victim" heavy on psychobabble.

The Dr and LKB are discussing why KC lies. Trying to come up with all kinds of theories on what happened to this poor girl to drive her to lying. As if lying in and of itself is not a crime.

Don't most criminals lie to get out of their punishment?

Are there going to be alot of people, sucked into psychobabble (and possibly on the jury) who could actually give credence to the theory that abuse causes one to lie vs. I committed a heinous deed and therefore I must lie to save my butt?

Could this Dr. D program advance such foolishness?

Shouldn't all cases where defendants who have been found guilty and have not told the truth be re-opened and explored for the Reason why they lied? Maybe they were abused?

he goes back and forth.. but he has people from both sides on.. ..
He has basically said.. himself.. that what they are trying to show casey's mental condition (all the lies and bs) as someone who is very very very badly sexual abused..and that it does not fit with the story they are telling and that casey has told.

I saw her and the young defense lawyer who said his personal thoughts are that ica overdosed her with chlor. and she died....

Doesn't surprise me one bit coming from Dr. Drew. He's behind MTV's Teen Mom & never really has a clue what's going on with those girls, either. However, he always has a lot of comments of what he thinks should happen.

I actually find Dr Drew refreshing. He doesn't froth at the mouth when he mentions Casey's name and he is just trying to take an objective view on all this.

As far as Linda Kenney Baden- she says, something to the effect of "Who knows what happened during the 5 hours that Casey, Caylee and George were together?" Now I'm trying to figure out what five hours- 9-2?

Another thing Dr Drew tries to figure out is if she was really sexually abused. This gave me an idea- maybe the kind of abuse the defense is talking about is consentual sex? You know- like Mackenzie Philips?

What if they come up with them two having consentual sex while they thought Caylee was napping? Does anyone remember Casey saying "I didn't say anything" when her parents visited her in jail?

Me too. I really liked Dr. Drew before watching a couple of his shows about this case. Come to think of it...I liked him alot more before he got his own show. A whole hour of him is a bit much to take. He's better when he's just commenting briefly on another show.

The first show he talked about this case he went on about some ridiculous theory about the duct tape. He was just "guessing" he said, he had no idea if what he was saying was true, but he put it out there. I also get the impression he thinks the people who follow this case are a little silly. Last night he was laughing about all the angry tweets and messages he got and told us all to calm down.

Yes it was Candice, she was great, and after seeing her bio I can see why. Although she was having trouble "committing" (excuse my poor use of quotation marks Mr JB) to a side bet of what happened lol Bless her for that, she did end up saying what "she" thought though.

Well, actually he said that her described behavior lines up with victims of sexual abuse BUT that Casey doesn't line up with having been severely sexually abused.

I just posted on another thread that Dr. Drew after first day opening statements was all about how ICA must have been abused, because her behavior clearly indicates an abuse victim.
Tonight, he was all about narcissictic personality and sociopath. He is seeing the light. I also got the impression he was INUNDATED with emails telling him he was crazy!

I could not, however, stomach LKB.

That is the first night's show on opening day...he stated that GA, former LEO, must have known that a drowning victim has leakage from the mouth, so GA must have put the duct tape on. I turned the TV off that night before I :sick:

Why do you think this has happened to LKB? ( As a woman near her age, I want to be proud of us ladies have who have "made it" for real, but not proud of those who have "sold out" for fame and fortune... um..yea "quotes" intended)

I can't stand that show! Is the man supposed to be a psychologist? It is so annoying to hear so called experts say that Casey has to be a victim and never admit that a narcissist can just happen. He also seems to lean on the fantasy life excuse when all they were was just lies, lies, and more lies to help her get out of the house to stay with guys and go party instead of working or staying with nice young women. I believe all the guys were nice young men though, but Casey knew her parents wouldn't stand for Caylee being drug around spending the night with guys.
