I've wondered this too. Why would she need it? Cindy called it her "work" purse, which would indicate she really doesn't need it. When I think about what is in my purse - checkbook, wallet, etc... - Well, she would have none of those things either. So, what was in it or why would she "need" it? :waitasec:

I tend to think that it was nothing more than a bag with meaningless crap in it. :twocents:

Amy H's resume was in it!

I'm surprised his wife has put up with him for all these years...there must be something good about him...but I've never seen it.

Maybe the better half is worse than he is, or maybe she doesn't put up with his gahbaage.

Oh wait. Let's make that trash!

First, no question is a stupid question. :)

1 hair (that we know of) was found in the trunk that was Caylee's and is had the death band.

Any other hairs are moot b/c no one else accessed the car, but the DT wants to imply that any family member could have. Which a family member could have but they did not. KC, to her demise, locked the car at the Amscot. The locks were not opened or broken until GA picked it up at tow yard.

Everyone knows many hairs will be found in any car, JB can not get his point across without helping the State.

If this were a group, gang, or any street murder the other hairs may have held importance. It is not.

I think Baez has dropped a few clues about his DT case coming up. George had car keys, George was the last one with the child's body, he knew the car was at Amscott those 3 days, Casey told TL that she had asked her dad to pick up the car there.....Sounds to me like they are going to say that he placed the body there for awhile before dumping it, wait. [ that cannot work because SB was there when the trunk was first opened and no body was present.] Anyway, they are trying for something along those lines, imo.

No - I don't think he is trying to deny it - but how Caylee got from George carrying Caylee to her being duct taped, bagged and put in the trunk and then somehow Kronk is mixed up in this as putting the body out on Suburban so he could find it because Kronk is morally bankrupt and wanted the reward money is all very hazy....
I think Mr. Baez ran out of time when he was composing his opening statement the night before the trial began. So we ended with George screaming at ICA your mother will never forgive you and ICA crying.

I don't think he's written the next chapter yet.:innocent:

But did JB ever allude to who moved Caylee after she supposedly drowned in his opening statement at all? I don't recall hearing that at all.....I remember feeling like he was leaving everything open to drawn your own conclusion from.

I`ve been wondering the same.

And sure, there may have been animal hairs, they had dogs. Or are they looking for evidence of dead squirrels? You`d think they want to keep quiet about those stories.

Which brings up a squirrel question that's been bugging me for awhile now. Didn't ICA tell someone squirrels crawled up under her hood and died there? And then, didn't she, or someone else say she had dead squirrels in the trunk of her car?

Why on god's green earth would anyone put 2 dead squirrels in the trunk of their car? You'd leave them on the dang street before you'd do that...unless, uh...maybe you were taking them to a taxidermist, because stuffed squirrels rock. ;)

I agree. He is not going to 'finish' that chapter until the state closes their case. Then he will spin his tale for us all. He may have to use George planting the body in the trunk if his cross examinations fall flat. And he may dump the Kronk theory too, imo. He might have come to his senses since he and his staff read these 'blogs' now.

If they're going to say that GA or RK had the body in the trunk there is no reason whatsoever to dispute the State's hair evidence because Caylee's death band hair being there depends on her dead body being there, not on who put it there.

KC told Amy some ridiculous squirrel story...something alluding to the squirrels crawled up there and died...I never heard of something like this happening...but who knows? I also think she blamed her dad....that he was driving her car and the squirrels got there when he was driving!

HLN hasn't figured it out yet that there is no one to testify to the sexual abuse except Casey? Did they forget all of these wonderful things she said about her father and mother and homelife? They already tried to get it out of George. He denied it. Now who are they going to get it from?

As far as I can see, from Vinnie's facial expressions and vocal inflections, he is fully invested in the defenses claim of sexual molestation by George. It doesn't seem to matter if true or not but he is playing into a salacious angle to reap ratings. I don't know how HLN is getting away with it, it has never been proven in any way, yet they try to cause this family further pain by touting their spiel as though it is fact.
I wish George and Lee had some recourse here...

Jean C. said that Casey said on the jail tape heard today "when this goes to trial"...not sure I recall hearing that but it is an interesting comment for Casey to make so early on...

I definitely heard ICA say it as well... and noted it at the time.

Obviously, ICA knew when Caylee was found, she would be charged (with murder, most likely) and it would go to trial.

I wondered when I heard it why her parents didn't give her some reassurance that WHEN Caylee came home (as ICA insisted she would) that there would be no need for a trial.

That's pretty telling in itself.

Anyone have a link to the Casey-cam while she was watching the video of the visit with George/Cindy when she said "why is she crying?" I haven't seen it on HLN yet and want to see Casey's reaction. TIA.

usual stone cold indifference to her mother's suffering....

I tell you one thing.... JB has many facial tells, and one could win a LOT of money playing poker with him.

Just sayin....

OMG....flirt fest between Vinnie P. and LKB....

I feel like I am watching JB and KC. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Suppose she wasn't counting on the ME finding out that Caylee's cause of death was drowning and the police figuring out that drowning can just as easily be an accident for which there is no reason to charge anyone for.

Wow! Just listening to the jailhouse tapes of earlier today. KC stated she was just as much of a victim as everyone else! Bloody hell!

I hate to say this on this board, but let's face it - accusations of incest/sexual molestation headlines draw far more interesting press than "She did it, and here's the evidence".

For the sake of his numbers, Vinnie is hoping against hope that it's true.

Odd sparring between LKB and Vinnie on HLN right now!

Yep she went and got them and then said to George here's your *advertiser censored**in gas cans. what a nice Daughter.

George's whole description of what happened that day - June 24th, really shows that KC didn't want him going into the trunk of her car. He says she raced by him to get to car opened the trunk, took out the gas cans and said "here's your ****ing gas cans" and shut the trunk.

We can surmise that either Caylee was still in the trunk, perhaps in the wheel well, or by then the odor in the trunk was very noticeable. Maybe not as noticeable in the rest of the car yet, but the trunk had a definite odor. Three days later, the odor was permeating the whole car, and she abandoned it at Amscot.

IMO, Caylee had already been dumped at the site on Suburban Drive by the 24th, and the odor was becoming more noticeable every day due to the decomp fluids that leaked into the trunk. Casey was trying to keep her dad and everyone else away from that car and was telling Amy that she thought her dad had hit a squirrel when he drove her car.
