He is probably going to use this to show that someone else (a later witness) didn't do things quite as properly as they should have. That's my guess.

yes, that is the underneath of the car that I put on the lift in the forensic garage.

yes, I found on the car was dried leaf near the ?. and a dried leaf near the chassie near the front tire.
