Ok I'll bite, opening statements are not evidence. Has the prosecution put on anyone who put those pings to the Anthony home? Remember her friend Ricardo was putting chloroform on his my space page, so who's to say he wasn't over at her house looking this up?

There has not been ping evidence introduced yet but I am making the assumption that since they discussed it in their OS, then they will introduce it. This is much in the same lines of commentators saying that ICA must take the stand to provide evidence of what the DT said- I don't see the SA making that mistake. If it does not come in during the CIC, then it will definitely come into play during the State's rebuttal of whatever the defense puts on. The point is, they have the evidence of this- it is in discovery and has been used by several websites to make timelines, etc. so I see no reason for them to not introduce it.

As to the RM looking up the chloroform, well the jurors will use common sense- there is a direct connection from the evidence in Casey's trunk tying her to chloroform and then this search comes up on the computer, a computer that has been in her possession. I would have to check the testimony of RM, but I am pretty sure he said he had never been to the Anthony home or used the computer- so now it is ICA's word over RM, a proven liar. It is a much easier leap to think she was the one searching for chloroform than thinking RM was over there looking it up, which would also show ICA's involvement since there is no evidence of a break-in at the Anthony house (which the motive would be to set ICA up for a crime that hadn't been committed yet? Or he just needed computer time even though he had his own?), she would have had to let him in. So either she is standing in the room watching him, which RM would have testified to since he is cooperating with the state or he snuck off while in her house and did a quick search of Chloroform interspersed with a whole bunch of other searches?
The obvious will always come out, even if the defense tries to put in doubt. You would have to take a lot of leaps of faith to get to RM, not so much for ICA.
JMHO

I understand that she looked up "chloroform" and how to make it, but I never thought of chloroform as a death-inducing agent...I only know about it as something they used to use during labor, to help women get through it. So as an untrained person and one not in tune with this entire case, I am guessing she wanted to use and did use it, to get Caylee out of her way at times, but I am not seeing it as a pre-selected murder weapon. Does that make any sense?

sure it does - she was just putting her "to sleep" for the duct tape which was COD IMO.

Thank you so much for making me laugh....steam was starting to escape from my ears!!!!

I have steam coming from every place that you do not want to know about! Pores pour when angry, disturbed and frushtrated.
Nough said!

When JB said he was going to butcher the artery word Casey mouthed the word!

Because there no longer a spleen!

I believe it's the hyoid bone and when broken often indicates strangulation. Don't know if the bone was recovered.

It is the Hyoid bone, but no, it wasn't recovered, the only one not recovered I think,. I remember asking about this because if it was broken, then Caylee was strangled. But we'll never know.

She needed to be prepared cause she was soooo afraid of George:floorlaugh:

JB going through items self defense, artery, ruptured spleen "did investigators tell you that had anything to do with this case"
witness - no sir
JB - much longer times spent on those

Baez sure is worried about people making money because of this case. wonder why???

This same software was used in the Brad Cooper case.

Exactly. I would think being able to say abc police dept and xyz police dept and lmnop investigators inc. uses it will go alot farther than having '#1 whatever' on his website. And apparently the police are using his program.

Leave Mr. Baez alone he hasn't knocked anything over in the court room today he is having a good day by his standards. :innocent:

Can anyone remember what zannys injuries were when she had her "car accident"?

So does Jose know what the relevance of ruptured spleen etc is?

Poor ICA was looking up self -defense, scared of GA I suppose.
Planning to aim a kick at his middle meningeal artery no doubt..... she must have been a Navy Seal in a previous life.

Did the investigators tell you that it had anything to do with this case? Are you a chemist? Did you see Caylee drown in the pool?

The site is moving - creating a new page - way faster than yesterday. I can barely keep up, lol.

JB, hypocritical much? The guy has nerve.

Do head injuries have anything to do with this case? Now he's looking smirky again. Casey still looks serious. Why is JB laughing now? I would be highly insulted if I were on the jury.

Chloroform is a very dangerous substance. Hence why it is no longer used in the medical field and next to impossible to obtain through legal means.
