Tony pippitone is reporting that there is another sidebar out - this one from today in which HHJBP called all 8 attorney up. He said if ja and JB continued to interior witnesses, they would be prohibited from questioning and they would then have to pass notes.

Botanist and dr. Warner Spitts supposedly on tomorrow.

Also local civil rights group accusing JB of committing the oldest and most infamous use of racial profiling, setting it up to be that the black guy did it (not an exact quote, but as close as I could get with my iPad.

PROHIBITED? Passing notes? Is that legal? Sounds like JP is seriously fed up. He really reminded me over an overstressed kindergarten teacher at times like when he didn't care if JB was standing on his head. This stuff would be helpful to Casey's appeal, won't it? (at the rate this going, I'm not sure there won't be mistrial with in and out of court absurdity growing every day)

DT needs some non-expert witnesses up there if they want to even pretend to try and build "their" narrative.

I didn't have time to set the DVR so I've been trying to catch up by reading on the trial thread. After reading several pages of posts, I would love to watch it. Does anyone know of, or have, a link where it can be seen? From what I've read, it seems that JA's cross was brilliant. Thanks in advance.

I am so sad... I have been working way more than I wanted to during this trial... and I don't want to complain because I know so many people are not even working right now, but I really wish I would win the Lottery tomorrow. :floorlaugh: I can't take it!!

I am allowed to bring my computer to work, but it is always so busy, I can hardly pay attention. I feel like I missed out on a lot today. I do want to thank every single person who keeps updates. It really is helpful. More than I think you all know. I just miss sharing this trial with my Webslueths family.

I feel like a drug addict that needs my fix when I can not watch in real time. It is really sad. I think I am going to really need an intervention once this trial is over.

I felt sorry for Huntington right up to the point where he said, with more than a bit of smug authority, that Dr. Vass was not an anthropologist. I can't stand a know it all...especially a know it all that ACTS like he knows something he obviously does NOT know.

I'd bet dollar to donuts not a soul on this jury has forgotten that Dr. Vass is a forensic anthropologist. After all, THEY take their duties seriously.

Yeah, still watching HLN. I remember Dr Drew from Loveline years ago but I don't know what his medical qualifications are, (he just referred to himself as a "medical person") but he was just explaining his Zanny = xanax theory which I've heard but he just said Xanax is a really expensive medication and Casey switched to chloroform when she ran out of money.

No, it's not. Generic Alprazolam is CHEAP. I have taken it for an anxiety disorder for years and that's a $4 rx at Walmart/Target/your local grocery store's super cheap meds lists. I've never paid more then $10 for a months worth. Making chloroform would be more expensive. Now if he wanted to argue she lost access to xanax source.

I don't know if Casey had medical insurance. I'd guess she was still on her parents policy? No evidence she ever saw a therapist or had a prescription for any benzodiazapine, right? She could have been getting it from a friend/family member but it's not like anyone would cover for her at this point.

I just realized I've made 98 posts here in two weeks. I'm way too obsessed with this case, Not sure what that says about me. Dr Drew is interviewing "sharpie lady" and showing video of the insanity of the fist fights this morning. I know it can be hard to distinguish with the absurdity but this is a case about a murdered little girl. Not a three ring circus

Yet I don't look away. Aside, I noted earlier Baez referred to "Caylee's remains" this afternoon. It was after JA had wiped the floor with bug doctor so he was surely stressed out and upset. Has he referred to Caylee by name before like that?

I had a boyfriend who was obsessed with Love Line years ago and we had to listen to it every night. I never liked him because every woman who would call with a problem would be asked "______? Where's Dad?" I just thought it was irritating.

Caylee's remains were tested for xanax and several other things. Nothing was found. Page 35 and 36 of the autopsy report shows the results --

She could have been using over the counter cold/allergy medications on Caylee.

Casey was too old to be on her parents insurance - usually anyone over 19 who is not a full time student is no longer covered - at least it was that way when my children grew up.

And, yes, I am completely obsessed with this case.

I will say I know very well what benzo withdrawal is like; before a friend was arrested some years back, she stole my xanax and the benzo withdrawl combined with some issues culminated in an altercation with her roommate where she was arrested, in jail for several days and finally woke and couldn't remember a single thing that had happened. Given the lack of forensics and the fact Casey would need a source this still isn't likely. Doping Caylee with Benadryl I can totally see. I had another friend who used to do this with her toddlers to get them to go to sleep at night. (Yes, I have a history of "interesting" friends)

Really dumb question, what does bbm mean? I know it's not about blackberrys.

I totally agree with you on her arrogance and thinking that she is so much more superior to the SA.

I think that she goes to bed at night just gleaming with how she could get over on any of them.

If I were ICA i would be petrified to be cross examined by the state attorneys after seeing JA in action today,but then again by the time the defence has finished she may not have anything to lose.I think her only chance at all is Juror #4,and that would only be for a hung jury.There's no way she'll be aquitted.I just hope they don't go for a compromise verdict,or if they do it's still for a long time in jail.

I watched the entire day of testimony today even though this morning was boring and eye-brow raising.
But I did learn where the defence got their hair brained theory that somebody moved the body (Kronk?) from one location to another, and the other startling fact that LBK called Huntington on the same day the remains were found and a full seven days before they were identified as belonging to Caylee.

Moving on to the afternoon and more nonsense chart flipping and coloured pens from Baez, then your Hero and mine stepped up to cross.

While I was kind of afraid JA would blow a gasket, because he was so "stern" and often raising his voice - I was over the moon at what the defence expert witness testified to.

He had to admit there was no food in the trash. He said the body had been in another "location" for 2 - 5 days, in fact agreeing with the prosecution witnesses, he agreed decomp stinks (Huntington's words not mine) - in other words, he appeared to have abandoned testifying for the defense and confirmed all that the prosecution had to say.

But I left Bill S.'s recap until just a few minutes ago, so I could really savour it as a special treat for the evening and it was better than munching through 10 or so thwartcakes.

Bill used the word "obliterated" speaking of what JA did to the defence theories and their expert - he used the words not just discredit - he wanted to destroy this witness and he did just that. He called it classic JA cross.

I may need to re-watch it for every day left in the trial - that few moments were so sweet! Now I'm going to check out for the night, sit on my sofa and watch come complete nonsense on the tube, then get to bed to get up, park myself at 6am my time in front of my computer, to watch some more lightening bolts from the SA in the morning.

Let's enjoy the day's victories. It's been a grand day!!
