but how so? The witness testified there was no food in the trunk. Just some bottles of spit, and spit is not similar to decomp smell.

I mean there had to have been something foul in that trunk to smell two years later.

according to this expert EVERYTHING "depends" and tobbacco spit is capable of decomposing and is made of bodily fluids and it took FOREVER for him to concede it would NOT smell like a decomposing body so I, for one, would not put it past him to say it could have spilled in the trunk and the smell remained

I find it remarkable JB advised the Judge this a.m. that this witness would take 1/2 hour (I assume being questioned by Baez), and, sidebars aside, knowing all of the drawing and questioning he was going to do, the mini-class this witness was going to run, I find that disingenuous, at best, but not surprising, IMO, MOO, etc.
