You know what's really sad (keeping in mind we have no idea about his service records) but that man had one hell of an impressive CV and now his record is blemished for not following proper protocol (oh the iorny )

I know a fair bit about the military and this will go on his record and taint it - why he ever got involved or did not seek proper approval I'll never know, a complete mystery.

The sexual abuse stuff, Kronk, what Kronk did with the body and how it got up the road form the Anthony house, why ICA partied like a rock start for a month, why she wasn't even upset the night Caylee died and was out with BF on an extended ummm- whatever, and how Caylee 's face got duct taped, how she got into those bags, and if she wasn't in the trunk where was she and why did ICA's car trunk have decomp in it and why did she abandon it and not tell anyone, and how did she get the squirrels out from the engine of her car anyhow. Have I left anything out? And this in three and a half days?

yes! We still must meet the expert in molestation/lying and figure out why ICA's truth-teller got broken. I think that would be a great time to revisit some of those jailhouse tapes just to make sure that those lies, giggles and "surprise surprise" were typical of girls who had almost (but not quite) had their breasts touched and then murdered their daughter.

Also I LOVE that the defense is mere days from finishing and the Judge still doesn't quite know what their defense IS.

Amazing - trial goes to the jury on Friday - wow - this has gone by quickly!

Let's hope so. I don't put it past the DT to pull out last minute tricks to delay the inevitable. I keep thinking of the juror that had a trip planned and the judge assured him he'd make the trip. The DT couldn't care less about the jurors or their obligations.

As someone who was molested by her father, I can tell you I would NEVER act like that.

As someone who's dated a true narcissist/sociopath, I can almost guarantee that that's what ICA is. Something DID happen somewhere in her childhood to stunt her emotional development, but I wouldn't necessarily pin it on sexual abuse.

Rodriquez had to know what he was doing was wrong. The Code of Federal Regulations spells out why the Govt doesn't allow it's employees (military or DOD) to testify, in cases unrelated to their Govt position. At the link it starts with the last three paragraphs on 134 and goes to 135.

So not caught up on this thread but my impressions after today are:

- The Defense is not looking to call GA to the stand. They seem to be trying to elicit hearsay testimony and impeach him through other witnesses. Makes me think there may be some credibility to the rumours the Anthony's struck a deal with the DT.

- HHJP seems to believe the verdict watch will be a short one.

- In two weeks time the DT has put on contradicting experts (who mostly contradicted themselves!), scientists who bored jurors into a stupor, enabling relatives, and consistently used circular logic. I predict a guilty verdict. Of what though remains to be seen. I think a lot of it will be down to jury instructions - what constitutes reasonable doubt as much as what premeditation is defined as.

- I cannot wait for the State's rebuttal!

It was a volunteer at the Caylee search center. She apparently had some conversations with George and Cindy, and she also apparently saw duct tape at the search center tent that "we" (as she put it) were using to tie down the table cloths when it got windy. That's all that she was allowed to testify about.

CM wanted to allow in that she was asked by LE to have a bug placed in her home so any information GA and/or CA shared with her could be recorded and reviewed. After conversation with her husband, the lady said she wasn't comfortable being recorded. That was it. HHJP said it didn't have any relevance to the case, so that scintillating testimony was not allowed in.
