As tidy and meticulous as Cindy was/is about her home, wouldn't you think that if those shorts no longer fit Caylee that Cindy would have gotten rid of them?? She kept Caylee's room and belongings neat as a pin.

How many of you have clothing marked with different sized tags in your closet? Such a non-issue...pfffft!

I'm wondering if Caylee dressed herself...knowing that ICA was probably not paying attention to her Caylee, like a lot of other little girls, may have been getting into things and may have changed her own cloths. Or the shorts may have still fit her if she wasn't in a pullup or diaper. Or maybe the shorts had those lil tighteners in the waste and once the tighteners were let out, they still fit.

I agree. I don't know about everyone else but my kids wore their shorts for quite a while even though their shirt sizes got bigger. Could've just been my big headed kids.....:floorlaugh:

I've always thought the small shorts might have been picked because they were less likely to be noticed as missing from Caylee's wardrobe. She rarely wore them and would not be in really recent memory regarding her wardrobe.

And who said the clothes were actually on little Caylee - that she was wearing them when her body was dumped.
ICA said they haven't even found her clothes yet - like they were dumped separately.

One of the witnesses testified the shorts were consistent with something they see with decomposition/animal activity

Two thoughts about 'the shorts don't fit' defense:

1. There are parents on the Jury who understand kid's clothing size variances; and

2. The difference between OJ trial and this trial is the prosecutors. Caylee has top notch prosecutors fighting for her.

The dang shorts again??!!? Help me out moms of toddlers. When chubby babies wear diapers they are in 24 months, then when a kid starts slimming down and wearing panties or pull-ups they can stay in that same size for a long time, especially in shorts! My normal size 6 yr old can still wear a 4 in some shorts! I mean, they are definitely more fitted than ones I would go out and buy for him, but if they are ones he already has, than he wears them sometimes!!!

My daughter was petite and thin. Wore a size 6x until she was nearly 10!
