"We've just received a report stating that in the hallway, Beaz has walked up to one of the cadaver dogs that was waiting to testify and thrown him against the wall."

:truce:

Doesn’t Baez remind you of a “Roomba”? He chugs along till he bumps into something then he just turns and chugs the other way till he hits something else!

This is brilliant! It's EXACTLY what he is doing.

And When he does Bump into something, he turns the other way and just moves along like he never hit anything at all.... It's crazy and all over the place

I believe if you are going to listen to anyone's testimony, you need to set aside your beliefs about a person and your feelings about a person if you are going to "hear" their testimony.
If you listen to George, while thinking this man abused ICA and he is a liar, it will colour your reactions to his body language and his words. And all any testimony of his will do is add to what you already believe, because all information will be run through that belief basis first. IMO

:tyou: logicalgirl

And that is why I believe George today. Before today I don't think I have ever made a post that was in his favor from my opinion. But, again I do understand why some would have questions. He has lied. It is hard to trust a liar. And that is why I do not trust Casey at all-she has lied more and is continuing to lie-and Cindy has lied. If George is up to something, something to get Casey free...I don't think it is working. IMO.

:cow:

PS: Hey everyone the talking head on IS just said, "something's going on with this family" :floorlaugh: WS know THAT is the understatement of the last three years!

99% chance of reversal on appeal due to ineffective counsel.

say it ain't so RHornsby! :(

No way! Baez and team are pulling out the stops to save her... they just don't have much to work with. MOO

I cannot decide if the DT was simply trying to discredit GA as a liar (hmmm-odd strategy given the defendant) or they were implying he was going to shoot Casey with the gun.

Wow I really feel for the jurors........I feel sick just watching this trial every day. I cannot imagine having to come to a verdict and then live with this experience for the rest of their lives. It must be very difficult for some people especially someone who is very sensitive.

Never going to happen!

In order to prevail on a claim that he received ineffective assistance, a criminal defendant must show two things:

1. Deficient performance by counsel.
2. Resulting prejudice, in that but for the deficient performance, the result of the proceeding would have differed.

ICA has had up to 8 lawyers representing her during the trial... they're not all incompetent. And Nilton Diaz just had his Ineffective Assistance suit denied and he only had Baez. Not happening for ICA!

Izza new dance! Instead of the Macarena, it's the Roomba Rumba!

Has anyone yet posted about KC's "lashing out" at her attorneys the other day, when Baez was walking back from a sidebar and she looked angry for a minute? What was that all about?

As a survivor of sexual abuse by the hands of my mothers second husband for 12 years and a member if many support groups throughout the years as well as also being in court system as I did finally tell and press charges, I will be surprised if in fact she truly was abused by her father.

Just my observation....

We might just be sisters! hugs.

No offense meant to anyone here, honestly, but I thought I'd weigh in on this crying issue from the male perspective.

I was a criminal investigator in the military. I saw men cry many times, all different ranks, all different ages, for all kinds of reasons. I've cried myself many times.

I won't say that there isn't still a certain social pressure on men not to display that emotion often, but the idea that grown men don't cry is, in my estimation, at least two generations ago.

It's a sexist assumption, not any more valid than suggesting that women are "emotional" by nature. Some are, some aren't. Some men like sports, some don't. Some women like to gossip, some don't. I'm sure you see what I mean.

Stereotypes are a lazy way of understanding people. It's lots easier to just assume things about a gender or group of people than it is to take everyone as an individual and deal with them on that level.

Just food for thought, and no offense intended. But, as a man, it is a little disheartening to see people still throwing around obviously sexist ideas about what consitutes "normal" male emotional behavior.

:cow:

Thank you Sleuth5. I am 53 and am drawing on my own experiences with men my age, and older (i.e., my father's generation). I am glad that today men feel a little freer to express their feelings. But all in all, I still believe that most men tend to hold it in vs. openly boo-hooing like I did during testimony today. How many men cried during that I wonder?

Ugh, and in his own small mind he thinks they are all there because he is doing a great job. Is it wrong of me to wish they came with tomatoes and eggs?

I wonder if he goes home and replays IS's coverage of the trial and thinks 'see I am doing a good job'.

My take on Casey's hate towards George:

She truly hates him. It is NOT because she was abused by him. She first got angry when Caylee was "missing" that George was more concerned over Caylee than herself. We all know how insane her jealousy towards Caylee was. After George accepted the truth and knew Casey was involved, she was outraged. Then he wouldn't lie on the stand to save her. That was the icing on the cake. She hates him so much that he is speaking for Caylee rather than to save her tail.

She hates him SO much for this. If he helps put her on death row, she will do all she can to make sure that she also puts the nail in his coffin. She wants to make sure that he has nothing else to live for after this.

You hit the nail on the head! Does she really think the Juror's think her behavior toward her parents works in her favor? I think it makes her look like the spoiled selfish self centered brat that she is. I forgot "baby killer" too..

There may be a thread on it. I read about it in depth somewhere the other day.
