I think our afternoon Trial Thread, besides including significant reminders re TOS should have included the insistence that all posters be required to fasten their seat belts for the Trial this afternoon.

I just saw him on wesh and he started to say something about us knowing about the case for 3 years and the jury not being able to "get it" (I actually don't agree with him fwiw) what do you think Git?

Can I just say that I only started to follow this case when the trial started, and I cannot imagine not 'getting it' based on what we've seen in court.

How about when George says, "there is something inside of me that I have to go through." I agree that George was a part of all the mess by not just coming forward...and I (to use another WSers words) "had no use for him" before. I am not excusing what he has done but it seems neither is he-and my personality is such that when a person is willing to take responsibility for their actions I have to give sympathy.

But! I understand why one wouldn't feel this way. I know the jury does not know about George's lies and even though Jose is trying to bring them in-George is admitting them and they are not lies to cover a accidental drowning and actions to "pin" it on Casey. IMHO.

Guys, I only saw some of the testimony this morning - Cindy's and part of GA's and the clip where he broke down. I have read some of the comments here and it seems most feel the defense has continued to do badly. So why did Richard Hornsby tweet that he cannot predict the outcome at all? Did the defense show how bizarre the family is today?

I read it as RHornsby backing off his prediction of only a lesser manslaughter charge and he now sees the possibility of a murder charge..JMO

I am so ready for this trial to be over, see her found guilty, get handcuffed and hauled away to jail. I need and want my life back!

I am too..............it's way past time for this to end. I feel bad for the jurors having to sit through this..........all the delays, sidebars, and JB's nonsense.

Because this morning gitana1 was so bad and so brutal, all done by JB, that everyone who was there had their minds blown out at the audacity of it all. No one has ever seen anything like it before.

Hey, you missed Ann Finnell's telephone motion when none of the Defense team showed up on time, ICA sat there by herself and HHJP went ahead with it anyhow? Kind of gave us all the flavor of how the rest of the day was going to go - or at least should have.
