The purported $10,000 payment???
I recall MSM article(s?) attributing a statement to JR's girlfriend's friend (was she friend, co-worker, neighbor or ?) to this effect -

JR's girlfriend said JR was doing work over the weekend for which he would be paid $10,000 and JR's girlfriend was pleased because he (she? they?) would be able to buy a van she wanted.

Did she say when JR's GF told her this before, during, or after that wk-end?

My quick look at media thread did not find quote from JR's girlfriend's girlfriend. Anyone? TIA.

Any other ref. to specific $10,000 paymt? JR's girlfriend herself to MSM? LSCO? Scott or unnamed 'source'? TIA

If he was really bragging about being a hitman who's favorite weapon was a hammer... im sure LEO around MIssouri will be looking closely at any open murder cases that involved the victim being bludgeoned. My guess is that he was all mouth tho.
Did CWW go along to make sure the 'job' got done? Drop JR off and pick him up after? (after stripping off the bloody jump suit so no blood in CWWs car...)

I don't think he ever killed anyone before this.
And I'm a firm believer CWW did the killing!

I am wondering if the media is not mixing up the two different Jimmy Rodgers. A reporter says that Rodgers was from Paris, MO but originally from Hillsboro, MO. They are two different guys with two different D.O.B.. Both have records. I have not seen the middle name "Ray" until recently. Most in the beginning did not use a middle name, IIRC.

Jimmy "R" Rodgers is from Hillsboro, MO with a D.O.B. that is older by 4 years or so and a completely different record. Both records are in a public record domain. But I want to make sure the right one is used before posting it here.

My guess as to why he wants to talk to websleuths is because in my opinion it is quite obvious some key players are paying attention to what goes on here. I think he is using it as an opportunity to apply pressure and get whatever message he wants to send out there. And of course do this without being talked over and have "bombshell" flashing across the screen.

Ahhh, and this makes me think that more important than us asking him questions, we should all truly listen to Sheriff Scott, and let him speak and get his message out, if in fact he has a message to share with a particular audience.

I (along with hubby and daughter) have been glued to WS and this case since arriving in Bonita Springs on vacation on 7/2 and seeing DrS's beautiful face in the newspaper left under our hotel door. My whole week was spent by the pool with iPad reading WS posts and like many it seemed like a murder of convenience as hubby was in CT.

I do not recall seeing a timeframe established for the friendship developed between CWW and JR. Could CWW have sought a gullible culprit in JR months prior and befriended him for the sole purpose of pushing him into this murder web to take the fall?

Hold that thought! I was just thinking we need at least one specific topical threads to discuss what we know - connect the dots between JR, CWW & MS... I'm working on something else right now, but I will put something together after I'm finished.

1. $10 large for a weekend's work = serendipity? Plenty of lawful, legit work opportunities likely avail to pay JR that for a few days labor? Would you tell friends (law-abiding or non) about it?
Or
2. what crime is JR about to commit that could easily send him back behind bars again?

No snark, curious about her thought process and how she tallied info from JR. It's difficult for me to imagine not asking JR questions, which would lead to me to conclude #2 and iwannabeoutahere, van or no van.

I don't think it's an either/or answer. What any of us would think is probably not anything like what she would think. She's young, a small town girl with 2 kids already and does not seem to be very savvy. If she's naive, she might not even question it and if she did, might believe whatever she was told. She may have seen no red flags at all.

ETA: This is the reason I have to show my DL when I buy OTC sinus/allergy medicine that contains pseudoephedrine. They limit how many (grams?) a person can purchase.

I just removed a few posts. I'm going to open a new topical thread directly related to the connection between JR, CWW & MS. I plan on restoring and moving those posts over to the new thread. First, I need to find a link though. I recall a MSM acticle where a woman confirmed to the reporter that Mark paid for her son's wedding and/or reception. I need to locate that link first otherwise it's only wild speculation without any factual basis whatsoever.
