I don't understand why CWW isn't still in prison after this, for 10 drug - related felonies?

That is something all of us were wondering as well. If he served the entire time, he would not be out to kill TS.

Claim by Curtis Wayne Wright, accused in Teresa Sievers killing, that he killed roommate likely untrue
http://www.naplesnews.com/news/loca...untrue-that-he-killed-former-2-361075051.html

A Missouri man who is a suspect in the death of Dr. Teresa Sievers in Bonita Springs and a person of interest in the disappearance of Missouri minister Ronnie Bolin likely was only bluffing when he told a relative that he killed a former roommate, according to law enforcement and a former co-defendant.

Documents released last week in the Sievers case included three paragraphs summarizing a statement Curtis Wayne Wright Jr. made to his brother-in-law, Robert Wideman, in late May about strangling a former roommate. Wideman told detectives that Wright said he killed a former female roommate in retaliation for ratting him out during a 2010 arrest for manufacturing methamphetamine at his Missouri home.

Reached by phone Tuesday, Wideman declined to comment.
<modsnip>

I remember reading that CWW was arrested after a traffic stop in which he had drug related items in his car and the police suspected he was manufacturing meth and then went to his house where their suspicions were found to be true. Does anyone know where this information would be in order to verify it?

I remember reading that. He said she took 5 years from his life so, he took her life.
What a nice guy. I hope this can be verified, proven and I pray RB family can finally get the Justice they deserve.

This menace to society is finally off the streets for good I do beLIEve.
I apologize if this has already been confirmed as I've not read the whole thread.

For those of you who remember the discussion re: CWW's bio and whether he authored Apollo 13: A Week to Remember, there is an update from the author himself, with a picture: http://emiliocorsetti.com/an-update-an-anniversary-and-unexpected-turns/

"That’s me in the black shirt on the far right. The guy standing next to me is Wayne Wright. His primary task was 3D animation and video, but like everyone he helped in all aspects of the CD. Michelle, in front, was in charge of graphics. She was aided by her sister standing in the back. The man on the far left worked on the narration. I was the writer, programmer, and project manager. I enjoyed every minute of this collaborative effort.

We dissolved the company a year or so after we released our first and only product. We won several awards and had great reviews, but we barely made back our original investment. In truth, we each lost a few thousand dollars. But we did gain some valuable experience and something to put on our resumes. I stayed in touch with Michelle for a few years but then we all drifted apart.

I hadn’t been thinking about Apollo 13 until a few days ago when I started getting emails about Wayne. I assumed that someone was asking for a recommendation, so I gave Wayne high praise, which he deserved. So I was puzzled when I got more than one request concerning Wayne’s involvement with the CD-ROM. The people asking about Wayne seemed to be looking for evidence that Wayne had lied about his involvement on the CD-ROM. I assured them that he was a vital part of the Apollo 13 team.

So I did some digging by following back the links to my site. I was more than a little surprised by what I discovered. The picture on the right is a recent picture of Wayne. It’s a mug shot. Wayne apparently has been arrested as a possible suspect in a murder case in Florida.

I don’t know the details of the case. What little I do know is only that Wayne was in Florida with the gentleman suspected of committing the murder. Whether or not Wayne is involved will be determined in the months ahead. I did learn that Wayne spent some time in prison for drug related offenses.

The Wayne I knew was a very creative, smart individual. I certainly hope he is cleared of all charges."

Apologies in advance if this was posted while I was MIA, I'm assuming people who emailed this guy were Websleuthers. :websleuther:

True and ms might not have been comfortable hiring just some random hitman.

I assume having a bestie like cww may push someone who was thinking about hiring a hit over the edge.

Ummm .... I don't think the term "gentleman" and "suspected of committing murder" go together. George Anthony in the Casey Anthony case was always using the term "gentleman" inappropriately too. Weird.

No link...just a recollection:

I thought we had decided that Wright's family connections in town were the reason he was given soft time to serve.

That was discussed, but debunked by a VI IIRC. CWW apparently is not related to anyone in LE, and that theory that he received special favors really had no basis in fact.

And isn't there a long lost son of CWW who fairly recently made contact with him? I seem to remember reading that and thinking of the sister of Scott Peterson who made contact with her birth mother Jackie Peterson fairly shortly before Laci's murder. And then ended up getting sucked into the whole "Scott is innocent" fantasy being put forth by his family. (Her book was a good one, well worth reading.)

The lives changed and upended when a murder takes place is just awful.

That's correct (about his son). You've got it.

To protect and respect his privacy, that's pretty much all that can be said about him here. As I know you understand.

Your last sentence is so spot on. SO MANY lives turned upside down. It is awful.

They did have a relationship years ago met again maybe 18 mo before their marriage. Strange was marriage was done quickly after AW's daughter passed away in march. Apparently he had probation after being let out.

Strange indeed, especially since AW would be very vulnerable after her daughter passing away. :(

AlwaysShocked, about the 'gentleman' term, it reminds me of a rape case in NY maybe, where the victim called her rapist a 'gentleman' while reporting the crime to 911.
She caught hell for saying that, I believed her but so many didn't and to top it all off, the rapist was a fireman and a good friend of her husband who just happened to be out of town.
He was finally convicted and I wish I could remember her name.
Her husband had nothing to do with it fwiw.
I do remember she said that's just the way she spoke.

ETA: Gentleman and CWW do not belong in the same sentence.

My baby HemiKrikitMcMittens, tore out the litter box with dirty paws, so I hit reply too soon. Lol
She has clean paws once again. I heart baby wipes.

Isn't CWW's lawyer the same one who represented Dalia Dippolitto? I think I saw her testifying in another trial in the last couple of days, saying she was doing something for reality TV or something like that? Is CWW's lawyer still representing her?

I thought that she defended DD, too - until I learned she was actually the prosecutor on that one! Changed course at some point after that case from prosecutor to defense lawyer.

Rolling over!!! Thank you Mr. Wright

One of the men previously charged, Curtis Wright, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in exchange for a 25-year sentence. Wright signed a plea deal on Feb. 19 and formally pleaded guilty Friday in front of Judge Bruce Kyle.

Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott will hold a news conference is scheduled for 4:45 p.m.

Wright confessed to killing Teresa Sievers and will have a sentencing hearing on May 31. He has agreed to provide substantial cooperation in the case against Mark Sievers.

I'm glad that CWW cares more about himself (or possibly his wife or family) than his "brother from another mother" to cover for him. I'm not saying I like him, obviously he plead guilty to a murder of sweet TS but I am so glad he cared more about someone other than MS and now justice can be served!!!!
