It's true, reading vs. hearing (seeing) is a whole other ballgame. Truly hits us (and myself) to the core, as a human being. My heart goes out to all of the victims involved in this horrific case.Audios and videos really bring it home. Heart wrenching is how I would describe it too. Dr. P was clearly shaken to his core...so distressed. His voice...trying hard to keep his composure...everything about his reaction is genuine. I'm so sorry for him...that memory he will haunt him for a long time.
We can read all the transcripts, statements, depositions, etc. and those are wonderful...great sources, informative, terrific for sleuthing facts but everything instantly comes alive when you add audio and video. They're not just names typed on the header of a report anymore. Always enlightening.
