Just an FYI: TS was unbelievably thorough in her blood work looking at vitamin deficiencies along with testosterone levels in men and TS prescribed testosterone topical cream for me that came in a syringe. There is no needle attached and there's a scale on the sides to measure the amount of cream being applied. I saw some of the pictures being talked about and although they didn't look much like mine I had different looking syringes from different pharmacies so it can be a possibility. However, one thing I do find contradictive to this thought is that the filled syringes are supposed to be refrigerated unless he had some other type of cream. Another thing is that once I fully used up a syringe, I disposed it so I would have no idea why empties would be around IF that was what they were for. Also, mine had a prescription label attached wrapped around each individual syringe that would have to be removed in order to read the scale. I wouldn't take a whole shipment and remove them all ahead of time, but I would as I was using them one at a time. I would have expected to see pharmacy labels on them if they were full.

The syringes I am referring to were of a very small size - meaning they were very slender - which is the very type of syringe used for insulin injections. Not that this type of syringe can not be used to inject any other medication, they can. But the barrel is so slender that it can only hold a small amount of medication.

This small and slender of a barrel would not be used to dispense a cream.

The penile injection idea is a possibility. I would think a small syringe with a short, small barrel needle would be used for such injections. Just like the ones in the safe. (Oh, I'll bet this form of taking erectile dysfunction medication is not very popular!)

Those syringes could have been there/used to give liquid medication to one of their pets. Antibiotics is one I can think of off the top of my head.
With them having 2 dogs and a cat, it's very possible.

Yes, of course this would be "possible". The syringes pictured, however, were of a type that has a very slender barrel. Commonly known as an "insulin syringe". But again, could be used for other meds also. The thing about these types of syringes is that they have a small capacity. Most hold a maximum of .5 cc. (One half of a cubic centimeter) That is an awfully small capacity syringe to use for administering oral medication to either a dog or a cat. I always prefer to use at least a 5 cc syringe for pet meds, larger capacity syringe for flushing.

One ounce of liquid medication (think in terms of a Nyquil or Dayquil plastic cup)contains 30 cc.
So think about how many times a small, 1/2 cc syringe would have to be filled to administer, say, 15 cc of medication.

Nope, I highly doubt those particular syringes were for pets.

(By the way, when I write about a "syringe" - that means just the barrel/plunger mechanism, not the needle. Needles are attached separately to most syringes. They screw on and off. BUT, especially with "insulin syringes" they can also be sold pre-packaged with a certain sized needle already attached.)

Love it. Watching MS and JR make eye-contact..Priceless!!

Replying to my own post.
Bring it on. Like I stated in a former post, MS has got the dagger eyes.

Here's a photo of what we use as a parent of a type 1 diabetic and a lab with skin allergies.

I used the same type on my kitty who had diabetes. I do no remember seeing any medications for animals though.

With TS being homeopathic, it could have been for something as simple as B-12 injections.

I do wonder if the syringes were for Sub- Q injections or intramuscular ones....
I also woner were the needles the type that can be replaced after drawing up an injection or the type (like the syringes above) where the needle is "fixed".
Just thinking out loud....

Each time I've filled a script for a vial of B12 at the pharmacy, I've been given insulin syringes.

Needle can be removed and a needle other than 5/8 inch can be used. See where it is blue? That is where it can be twisted off.

Only the 5/8 inch needle can be used and can't be changed out.

I just checked and I've also been given BD TB syringes. They're similar, 27 gauge x 1/2", individually packaged, and the needle can be removed/swapped out. The needles that come with them aren't long enough for intramuscular injections.

It's the other way around--TS's opinion is legally irrelevant to the decision, because when she died the girls still had a legal parent. Her opinion would only be considered if her death left them orphans (i.e., if MS had died first).

ETA: And for SOME purposes, a parent who killed the other parent would be treated as having "died first" in Florida and most other states, but that applies only to money and powers that came to the murderer as a result of the murder. MS's parental rights existed before the murder so the Florida "slayer statute" doesn't apply.

Thank you very much AZlawyer. I was hoping you would see this and explain the way the Will vs. the law works in this case. Not exactly what I had hoped for, but now we know it's still somewhat MS's decision. (and the courts, of course for best interest of the children) Ironic how this SOB has NOW left them orphans.

AZ Lawyer, thanks for that great explanation. I had no idea that the "Slayer Statue" even existed.

Learn somethin' new every day. Slayer Statue new to me too although not applicable (at least for now?). The LAW protects BUT "weaves a tangled web".

I wonder at what point will MS will loose some-all parental authority, as to WHERE the kids will reside. Will a GJ indictment of 1st degree start wheels turning or does it take a 'found guilty verdict & sentencing' to do the trick?

TIME
makes such a difference in kids lives. TS found mid summer (6/29/15), 8 mos later (2/26/16) MS arrested, MS & JR formally charged 1-2 weeks ago, then the GJ (whenever ?). How long will it be til a trial takes place? So much info here but I know MS, or maybe he & JR both, have a hearing coming up the end of May.

Justice must not be rushed, as to the fate of These Three, but justice for the kids as to their day by day living environment should be addressed properly & QUICKER if at all possible. Wish they could just leave FL, go to CT & get on with adjusting life (talk about time!) physically away from the 3-ring circus of hearings, an impending trial along with all the Bombshells launched via MSM.

Note:

The site will be going down shortly for some unexpected maintenance repairs. The estimated downtime is 3-4 hours. You can check the Websleuths Facebook page for updates. (linked in my signature line) We will post there when we know the repairs are completed.

Topic of this thread is: Mark D. Sievers Charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree

Discussion regarding the guardianship of the girls does is not topical.

Thanks.

I will move some posts over when I have time, until then please do not quote and respond to that discussion.

With MS in jail I wonder how the Jarvis home is being handled at this point. Would think BS is seeing to the lawn, MS had a guy who mowed, & for the sake of the neighborhood it hopefully won't become overgrown before the city forces something. Maybe she closed all household accounts like cable, Internet, phone, PING GPS Monthly, etc. OMG what ordinary daily life appears via US mail VS all to be done when life stops dead in it's tracks! Sooner or later the home will be sold or foreclosed---what a mess. This would be overwhelming for his mom to handle. THEN TS family may need to get some family belongings out of there OR forget that altogether---GEEZ.

Anyone know what LE did about the safe(s) with cash & guns? Wow, Sunday morning I woke up thinking all this crazy stuff but MS was there one day then gone the next.
