Didn’t realize BK previous jail cell was located underneath the courtroom in Latah county.

BK handcuffed behind his back at hearing. Will that be the next motion? Asking that cuffs be removed during hearings/trial?

Anyone know if BK family have ever visited him?

Yes, I saw that was Vince Gonzales yesterday, but did not want to link his obituary here for privacy reasons. He specialized in DP mitigation for those with mental health, retardation and autism diagnoses. Interesting.

@Chloegirl Thanks for identifying the deceased mitigation specialist as Vincent Gonzales.

A quick Google search shows date of death as JULY 24, 2024 & a memorial service on JULY 27 ** (assuming this is her witness).
V.G.'s website, w no other individuals named, appears to be dpmitigation.com. Includes list of his affiliations w various cases.

Now, 2 months later, at end of Sept, def atty Ann Taylor discloses this to the court.

What is (normal) PROTOCOL in such a circumstance?
Just keep mum & file nothing w ct; wait until a status conference? Wait until a conference for scheduling trial?

After July 24, were there any hearings --- in Latah County --- at which a def atty would normally be expected to disclose this?
Anyone?
