Which one is he, the blonde or the darker haired man? The blonde is a sweetheart who "found" me a seat when I was the last in line for the am session. The darker haired...well...hubba hubba! They were both in suits that day.

He's got strawberry blonde hair and a mustache. The dark haired guy was there and wore a suit. Both have been very nice to me.

Yep, that's me, keepin' it real in the courtroom. The testimony of ALV has been so boring I keep my self occupied by observing the gallery and jury. I was taking less notes once Juan started.

Glad you're enjoying my notes. They are scribblings from inside the courtroom, nothing fancy or formal.

Also, is it possible JA got to view the "Snow White" lecture video? Seems like she must have since she drew that sketch of Snow White with a black eye. Or maybe LaV gave JA her own personal presentation - that doesn't seem proper since LaV was supposed to be there to evaluate, not treat or conduct therapy of any kind. I think that some of the 40+ hours LaV spent with JA were spent "teaching" JA about DV so that JA could figure out what events she could make up or embellish to try to fit the DV profile. I can't see LaV spending most of the 40+ hours asking questions and listening- she likes to talk too much for that.

As ALV started off as an Mitigation Witness, she could have told JA about the Snow White theory then?

After Alyce testified that first day, I sort of liked her. I now retract that feeling.

Frankly, I think she's such a narcissist that she thinks she's going to enlighten all of us dullards in the world and save Jodi's life in the process.

I also don't think that she has any idea how big this trial is. This is a person that doesn't "use the email" or the internet. My 85 year old grandfather emails and surfs the web all day long!

Alyce is happy living in her 70's Brady Bunch world where she gladly would accuse Mike Brady of abusing Carol if he ate the last of Alice's meatloaf and didn't share.

I think she knows exactly what the internet & email is. It's just a way to manipulate the jury into believing her pose as the endearing Grandmotherly type (i.e: vulnerable & truthful). Vomiteria!

Please forgive me if I am heating up old hash but: I read on an earlier thread and elsewhere that the $250 research fee AVL collected was to "coach" Nurmi in how to cross JA. I believe it went a little further than that.. I see duplicate terminology between AVL and JA and like behaviors on the stand. I think they shared how to slow testimony down, how to attempt to throw Juan off his stride... and I'm sure you smarter WSers can think of more... remember both seemed to find our Juan talked in circles. Please excuse if old rant.

He's done that countless times since this trial started! Everyone necessary knows whatever his complaint is, as they've already dealt with it at sidebar or in chambers, but he INSISTS on his media moment to put on a display in front of the cameras..Then he struts around all indignant like he's rehearsed it in his bathroom mirror...his own little 'you can't handle the truth' moment. So gross.

I'm so weary of him and his goober sidekick..Not a single moment where they showed any integrity - ever. From lying to Chris & Sky Hughes about those letters to lying to the judge about when evidence was turned over by the state. Every time he speaks, he's lying as often as his client.

And ALV gets a 'talking-to' behind closed doors for what she should know full well could be interpreted as an attack on the victims family - in court?? IMO, anyone on the DT doing that is akin to the defendant

He puts EVERYTHING including thr BR toilet "on the record" so it can be used in the looong appeals process. This said, I've wondered many times if the DT believes JA will receive the DP and are preparing.

I'm thinkin' this was a stunt by the DT ... maybe to get a mistrial, which of course the Pros will not approach the Judge for this. The defense team can almost do anything (will leave out the nasty things in my head). IDK ... I'm not up on the court system and rules, but I'm just so .... well a little nervous about someone on the DT side (maybe in the gallery) doing something so weird that they manage to get a do-over for this *&#%ing witch.

I am an older lady (63) and I have never said so many curse words in my life while watching this trial.

While I'm here, I just want to thank ALL of the court observers. You have no idea how much you are appreciated. KCL ... I have said this before to you and you graciously thanked me, but I just want to reiterate. Your solidarity and support the Travis's family is a thing of beauty, just as YOU are ... both inside and out. I don't know you, but I think I have a pretty good grasp of "who you are" ... you are a beauty both inside and out, as many on here have expressed. Eeeeeaaaaand, since I'm Canadian I'd just like to say "have a good day, eh" ... Luv ya for who you are. :bowdown:

I thought I saw the Judge look at the Court reporter when she said they would meet back in the hall and tell the reporter they did not need them. I was pretty sure that was her message. I don't think it was on the record but I think it should have been.
If it was the prosecution that did that to the defense, they would have demanded it go on the record.

Been following along but jumping in to ask a question:

KCL: Do you know what kind of consequences ALV is facing for approaching SA?
Are we talking a fine? A dressing down in open court? Something worse?
Just curious what kind of consequence she will possibly have for her horrendous crossing of boundaries.
Especially DISGUSTING since she works in a field in which appropriate boundaries are so important and discussed on a regular basis!!!

I equate ALV approaching Sam to a prosecution witness requesting an early break and instead of heading out of the courtroom, making a bee line to talk to the defendant. NOT ALLOWED!!!! KCL thank you for bringing this to the attention of others. Also thank you for having the families back. You are never intrusive, but they sure know you are there. That is a big comfort I am sure.

I hope the Judge reamed ALV after court yesterday. I would not put it past ALV to call in sick Monday. She makes me sick!

If Dr. Phil is subsidizing the D's family, shame on him. Is there any news on housing for the TA family??

I wonder how far the defense will go to cause a mistrial?

It happened right after the 2:55 break she requested, after the jury was escorted out. Then she made a direct line straight for Samantha sitting there alone. Predatory?

The hugging of the defender of sexual predators happened at the end of the day after the jury had been dismissed. It's a long shot of Juror 5 but these 2 block the view. So special :facepalm:

Two knives, IIRC. And I totally agree with you. It is proof positive to me she was repeating the recipe for murder and would even have killed again.

Will this info be brought into trial? About her having a knife and a gun packed when they arrested her? Clearly not the murder weapons but coincidence I think not.
