Hi Pollypockets,

Just happened to catch that moment just now whilst catching up on today's proceedings.

At the time, it looked very much like either a highlighting pen or one of those 'roll-on' liquid paper dispensers. I have a few of each of these on the desk in my classroom and so that is what I immediately thought of when I saw Jodi fiddling with it today.

I saw that orange thing on the table when Jodi was playing lawyer and "organizing" the desk before going back to chambers for a break (shades of Casey Anthony...). It looked like a highlighter or maybe even one of those white-out tape thingies. Definitely not a cell phone. MOO.

I've seen it too. Hard to believe that's ok to do. Couldn't that be a way to coach Jodi if she's called back to the stand? Sort of like, this is the way I want you to do this....or something along those lines?

I saw it too. It's easier to see things like that from home. If she has another in mind to get kicked off it's all her idea. The jurors don't look at her when they enter or exit the courtroom.

I hope KCL was able to see it, and if she was she'll let us know.

How many trials has nurmi attended. Just seen a rerun of him saying that its a fairy tale that the jurors won't abide by sequester rules. He claims its a fairy tale. Wait do all his cases get sequestered? Thought az DIDNT do that?

I thought about that too. The first time I saw it, I wondered if Jodi was giving the DT people to contact for her, and they were letting her read the responses. She's in jail awaiting trial for murder....she should not be allowed to touch anything that gives her pleasure!

I agree with NG and maybe sequester them during deliberations....but ut oh not gonna take em that long to decide Guilty :great::great::great:

JW's phone is black. Saw her playing w/ it on screen at the beginning of session today. I think JA is just lamenting over a massive hi-liter, wondering 'what if...'

KCL looked great..talked great..got it out in open about ALV..but I do think KCL looked a little tired. She missed HH. Maybe her and our other Katie can rel;ax with a drink now.

She did NOT look tired. And if she did to you, she has good reason. I thought she looked beautiful and sounded very articulate. I love her.

She deserves every HH she manages to get to and .... well there's a lot going on in her life. I need to draw some kind of inspiration from KCL.

I got there late this afternoon (out of pure poor time management) and had to sit in the hallway for awhile to get in at the first sidebar, then I got in!

Actually i hv been watching her sketch for days now in the courtroom. At one point i,could tell she actually has a sketch book, and is often times erasing and rubbing, it shows on her fingertips and side of her palm. I dabble and sketch sm too. Its an eraser. And she has been furiously sketching away.
Also how didja all like that when the state brings out her getting autographs for her manifestos in jail, and she thinks her iq equal to that of einstein, she has to interupt the trial to use the facilities, after a half hour brk had just been ad by all.

Judge isnt in control of courtrm, i saw arias leave, she was the only one who got up and went out that door for the three minute break after the half hour brk aftr all the iq stuff was brought out on cross. Way to go, JUAN!

No note taking re: testing.

6 males on the jury with chins resting in hands.

CEO looks more relaxed today.

JM energy much more restrained, controlled.

People sighing and groaning behind me when she says she doesn't know computers.

Evasive.

He's flipping her own example on her re: profilers.

SHe keeps looking to Def. table for reassurance.

"I'm not a computer wiz"

Jurors looking at JM but minimally glancing at ALV during testimony.

Here's the thing. The jury has seen Juan Martinez doing his job day in and day out. Those of us who have watched every single day and every single minute of this trial have also seen Juan Martinez doing his job day in and day out.

We get him. I believe the jury gets him. The only talking head I have any respect for is Beth Karas. And Beth does not give a lot of personal opinions.

So many of the other talking heads are just so obviously "performers". And many of them make obvious mistakes when it comes to the facts.

Anyone who is saying that Alyce is doing a good job during this cross-examination is just plain not speaking truth.

Agreed, they sure are and some of them are just as bad as those paid to get on the stand to lie and bash the victim. Today was a real doozy for me that I had to call one of them out. Brian Silber. He was so bad, so vicious to our amazing Juan that I just kersploded.

I'm sooo sick today that I just don't have the patience for paid bashing. I want to be able to watch HLN but my word are they making it difficult to not hit the mute button at all times.

Watching Dr. Drew now though. Hoping they don't push it so I can see all the ones who actually care about this trial like the Katies.
