My guess is she will get with the program. She's sulking right now from the sting of the verdict but JW and KN are going to go to work on her with the carrot of 25 years with parole. She'll buy it because, recent verdict aside, she buys her ability to sell herself.

Random thoughts:

I think Sheriff A is tired of Jodi's games and the trouble she causes his jail with her tweets, interviews...and he finally just had it with the girl who cried suicide too many times--and decided to call her on it. He is a no nonsense guy, right?

The Dateline show makes me wonder if I watched the right trial day in and day out--because their presentation was misleading in a lot of it.

Keiffer loves the attention, as witnessed in his "role" in the Dateline show tonight. He is castigating anyone with any interest in the trial, all the while inserting himself at every chance. I am tired of his lectures about how sick we all are for our interest. And, as far as I can tell, any threat made during or around this trial was not founded, EXCEPT the threat yesterday by the Jodi supporter. Kind of puts a damper on his lectures about Jodi and Defense haters acting poorly considering....

I really do wonder about ALV at times and if she's done any introspection since her testimony. I know, probably not, but, unlike Samuels who was obviously a hired gun, I did think she sincerely believed Jodi was abused and wasn't privy to a lot of the info we knew.

I think she figured out pretty quickly that she got snookered by Arias. Instead of retreating and conceding, she stubbornly dug in her heels because after 30 years as a DV "expert" she was not going to be shown up ... uh-huh. Not in front of her cheerleading squad she brought with her, not in front of television cameras and certainly not in front of that rude, uppity meanie male prosecutor.

She would have died first.

We've got a few days until next hearing .. I've been thinking about strategies the DT could have used that wouldn't have involved trashing Travis, would have fit the facts including JA's multiple stories, and may have worked better .. Purely hypothetical of course but any ideas?

I really do agree with you, Softy. I think that many people, myself among them, are fascinated by how someone's thinking processes can seem to be so different from their own; hence the fascination with any possible clue that might lead to some kind of satisfactory explanation. I think it is part of the basic hardwiring we possess as predators in terms of pattern recognition -- we are programmed to focus on things that seem out of place.

I can admit that I am fascinated by her, I have never in my life (I know it is way shorter than yours ) seen anything like her. I thought Drew Peterson was a nut. :nuts: I followed his case very closely and still do, But he really has nothing on her... she is in a league of her own.

I too am fascinated by this strange creature, but what REALLY keeps me hooked is I want to see her get punished.

I think the only person she might listen to now would be Maria De Larosa. In fact in that "headline" photo of her out there, I believe she's looking at De Larosa, not her mother (her eyes would be angled to the RIGHT to see her family at all and they were looking toward the LEFT).

De Larosa is her mitigation specialist and this is her entire job. And Jodi may not even listen to her advice.

When Alyce LaViolette stared down the jury and answered "NO" to the question posed by a juror about whether or not Jodi, not Travis, perpetrated the greatest violence; I saw the "radical feminisit" of whom you speak.

Twice she tried to give an answer cloaked in sympathy for Travis (twice Juan objected) and finally she dropped any pretense objectivity, stuck out her jaw in defiance and said no.

She is so biased she can't see the forest for the trees. moo.

IN RE Manson. That happened before my time but he also had hundreds of interviews with the press. This is definitely nothing new. And his interviews would get almost violent. Jumping around screaming and pacing like a Lion.
