Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 7 murders, July 2023 #16

I guess it depends if she's selling this stuff out of nessecity to pay for her cancer treatment. I don't see an issue with her quietly selling his stuff (without using the murders as marketing) to pay for her cancer treatment.

I think any money that isn't a necessity to care for the basic needs of the family should definitely go to restitution.

~~I'm unsure if anyone in that house is capable of working right now. That's not for me to decide~~

Edit Asa and Victoria have both worked before. I wonder if anyone would hire them with their current baggage.
Do you happen to have an article that references she has cancer? I haven't read anything about that.

I'm now curious about AE selling the jeep w/o ever having mentioned who was its owner when it was listed on eBay.

In real estate many states do not require the seller/broker to inform potential buyers that the property has a crime history.
Many agencies do inform the potential buyers though due to having been sued by the new owners claiming that they never would have purchased the property and/or lost money when finding out about the crime and sold the property.

Could someone have purchased RH's jeep not knowing it was his because it wasn't advertised as such and then sued AE/agent for not disclosing it had been his?
They would have found out from the bill of sale.

She could have transferred the jeep out of the Huermann/Ellerup name and then donated it to a non-profit organization that traveled on rough terrain.

Like she needs a few thousand dollars after her Peacock deal?

Thanks Izzy.

Thanks Izzy.
Your'e welcome.

Meanwhile this crucial info got lost to the media enabling AE to continue her tales of a wonderful loving husband and a wonderful marriage.

A year ago Bob Macedonio tells Vinnie that AE's marriage was troubled long before his arrest and they had discussed divorce.

Thank you for posting this! I had been searching for it and couldn't recall where Macedonio stated this important information.
I find it ridiculous and insulting that AE portrays her marriage in such shining terms, when she has money to gain from standing by him, but in the beginning of all of this when he was arrested, the truth is that they led separate lives according to her attorney. "She was in a world all her own" and the "marriage was breaking down".
I cannot stand the absolute farce going on with RH and his "devoted" family. It's inconceivable to me that his family has received so much money from others, first from all those generous people who donated to her out of pity, and then from the documentary, and who knows what other moneys she has accumulated through other sources since his arrest. Talk about a twisted world.

Hopefully if RH ever goes to trial and the state calls her to testify they can use these statements by her attorney Macedonio who speaks for her.
I gather he was trying to make his client the wife of an accused serial killer look good to the public, that is until his buddy Michael Brown caught wind of Bob's claims and told him to zip it because it is diametrically opposed to the wonderful husband and wonderful marriage he'll be using as his defense for RH.

Asa must be an important witness.

She would be able to support prosectuion theories OR debunk them for the defense better than anybody else. She could give all the context behind the "smoking gun" if the allegations are true. She could give alibis and and credible refutations of how LE interprets the evidence if the allegations are false.

Now, if I were Rex, and I were not guilty for real, I'd want to be able to strengthen the credibility of Asa and her ability to defend me. If I were Rex and knew the charges were true, I would want to damage Asa's reputation so that she would not be a strong prosecution witness.

I think Asa's reputation has been damaged. That works with Rex if he's guilty, and against him if he's innocent. Who sent/paid Macedonia? It can't be "just" thinking ahead to Peacock, because that wouldn't be a sure thing. Unless it's more sinister than I'm insinuating, and Macedonia was sent in with high confidence that this could be a big murder-merchandise operation.

Edit/add: It is now on my to-do list to check to see how quickly Macedonia was on the scene after a very convincing charge document was out.

From the very beginning, Tierney was exonerating the family before anyone was asking, and unlike prosecutors tend to do even if someone were asking, while Macedonia was calling Asa a mentally ill person who was the victim of a cat-knapping.

Meanwhile, Rex was charged and had appalling information already out and making him appear to be a monster.

It's uncanny how lucratively executed were the actions after the arrest of Rex Heuermann, starting with the prompt, convenient divorce.

MOO but whoever was selling the jeep on Asa’s behalf seems like maybe they were they trying to pocket some extra money off of it. The jeep itself was already expected to sell for over a few grand but the market value only went up by catering to murderbilia collectors after stating it was owned by the Long Island Serial Killer, RH. It does seem weird, IMO, that Asa would approve of or be aware of the advertisement used in E-Bay considering it outright declares RH is LISK, an allegation AH opposes. However, if prosecutors could show that she approved of the advertisement couldn’t that be used to counter her previous statements that she believes her husband is innocent?

Bidding war begins for hunting jeep once owned by alleged Gilgo killer Rex Heuermann.

Does she love Rex or does she love that he pays the bill the bills and takes care of her and her family? She said in that Peacock doc that she loves him no matter what. It really makes me question about if she had any suspicions about RHs endeavors. MOO

I think that Rex is going to pull a Brian Kohberger and plea. There is too much evidence against him and in my opinion, he knows this. His best friend talks on that Peacock doc and said he asked him about it and Rex never denied it. MOO

That friend came off as a good person in the Peacock show. He seemed to recognize how awful the crimes are.

I liked the show far more than I thought I would, but it did still mostly minimize the impact to the murder victims, and instead just showed Asa being totally on the wrong subjects. Imagine complaining about a "brand new" interior door in the context of murdered moms/sisters/daughters/friends? On camera, when you are supposedly thinking before you speak?

That friend had a much more likable response to the shock of Rex's arrest.

It seems like many serial killers have like the Golden State killer, Happy Face Killer, and the Green River Killer just to name a few. IMO

I agree with you here. She was pretty dismissive or in major denial. I also agree that the friend had a much more normal reaction. I didn't see any tears. Something is off with her. IMO

I just don't see what his motive would be to do si
If you plead guilty there is no trial. His family would not be put through it and all the testimonies, and all the publicity.. I included a few links above of serial killers who did so. It is pretty common especially when they know the prosecutors have the damning evidence on them.

I've posted it numerous times since Macedonio said that Asa hired him the weekend after RH was arrested.
I see one connected dot for this to have happened, and happened so fast.

RH was arrested on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Michael Brown said that he met RH for the first time Friday morning 7/14/23 in court.
MB calls his old law partner Bob Macedonio and Macedonio gets in touch with AE phone # via MB via RH.

Back channeling at it's finest.
