I think Nurmi knew it when the jury questions came in for Jodi .. I wish we could see Wilmotts reaction after Jodi reminds her, I really want to get a read on how they reacted to that .. I'm sure the blow up in the cells was about the interview, Troy said on Fox her team had left by the time he got there, since it was a 20 minute window and he had to set up that's a pretty fast exit.

It's like she just moved immediately in to "interview" mode and Troy was pretty sure what would happen. I hope one day we get the whole story of how this went down and her attorneys' knowledge/involvement with that whole deal. I think they know too it's a foregone conclusion she's going to death row so there's kind of a big *whatever* about it.

Wow - that was a fascinating documentary - thanks for posting the link Schuby! Is there a follow up? Be interesting to know what happened to some of the women.

:seeya: DT

That was good. Of course I had to look up the two main characters (Styx and McNaughty).

Both are still in prison. Kelley McNaughton has a release date of 2015, and Jessica Styx gets out in 2014. Though if she's good, she'll be released in 12/13.

I do the same thing with all the participants on Shark Tank -- gotta know how their inventions are doing!

No this was right after and right after the jury exited.

I can't get over how fast she went from upset and teary-eyed at the verdict and then, wham, switches to looking composed and telling Willmott about the interview--

She's not lying about the "catholic priest" photo. It's too tame to be a lie. But the stuff about the bruises are definitely lies, especially her claims about a phantom man who witnessed all these bruises. How convenient that she can't name him. Trying to track him down would be like trying to track down a real Easter Bunny. That's why Nurmi didn't waste his time. And LMAO about her friends and siblings who witnessed all this abuse!!! Let me get this straight, Nurmi wasted the court's time to call Lisa to the stand for the sole purpose of testifying about an email involving sex, called Daniel Freeman to the stand to testify about a verbal argument that he started, but didn't bother to call these witnesses to physical violence for his own reasons? I think we know why, Jodi. It's lies.

how would you know if she was not lying about the photo, its no more out there than any of the other lies she told, and if it was true nurmi would have put that pic up every day, just like he did playing the phone call

She really bungs it on for the jury doesn't she?

Hey don't you think they knew about it, but thought they could tell her not to and she wouldn't? There's no way they would have been happy about it!

After watching it several times, I'm not sure I can make out "Troy" but it does look like she says "interview." I had thought they couldn't know as they'd never allow it but then, they'd probably never allow a client to Tweet during a trial and she did that. It kind of makes me feel sorry for them, to be so impotent.

The sociopathic shape shifting is unlike anything I've ever seen.

Thanks Melanie for the sleuthing!

i think we are overcrowded here already and they are talking about farming out inmates out now, that why the passed a new law where the now keep what they call "non violent offenders" in county jail cuz prison is over crowded, that why dr murray is staying on county, how ever there are new prisons in some states that are privatley run and actually costs states less $$, to bad she wasn't found guilty in texas

Uh, we don't want her..:snooty:

It could be her saying "jury" not "troy" but she's looking back in the direction of where Troy H, was sitting right before she said that.

I saw him that day and he looked more vulnerable than I'd ever seen him. Both he and Willmott knew exactly what was coming. JA on the other hand...still thought she was getting M2 or less. Hell, she probably thinks she still has a chance for reversal before she gets to prison.

She said in the interview that she was totally surprised that the Jurors convicted her of Premeditation and wasn't surprised about the "Felony Murder the Way The Law is Written". Isn't the little murderer so dam smart

Welcome! Great Q. And I do not know. I was surprised that JM was allowed to accuse many of the experts of lying. That is a huge charge to me...., the witness may be incompetent, bias ect. but to accuse them of lying was one of the reasons I am not a fan of JM. But the judge is this case also baffled me becuase I found no sense in her overruled/sustains on either side. I'm sure lawyers on this thread could see the rational..but I could not.

It was proven in court that ALV LIED on her CV, LIED when she testified that she had previously testified in court for a MALE, and LIED when she testified that Travis wasn't "extremely fearful" of the convicted killer.

The defense team couldn't object in closings, because Juan Martinez impeached her testimony and ALV was proven to be a LIAR, in court, on the stand. ALV lied to the jury. It's obvious. I'm sure the full transcript will be released some day.

It has nothing to do with liking Juan Martinez or not. ALV was proven to be the liar on the stand. Therefore, the defense could not object in closings. Facts WERE in evidence.

Haha, she probably thought they had a romance going.

Jodi: You're young and male, you like me right? I'm dynamite in the sack.

Young Male Juror: (trembling) Is there a lawyer in the house that can assist me on a restraining order?
Ah the Paul Rudd-lookalike juror. Of course in Jodi's alternate reality "borrowed" from the film Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, she thought she had found her soul mate in Brian Fantana, the stylish and over-sexed field reporter for KVWN news. Fantana is arrogant, narcissistic and prone to overestimating his personal qualities/charm. Sound like anyone we know?

I was a little shocked at that at first as well (JM accusing witnesses of lying) but a lawyer friend of mine said that is what impeaching a witness is all about -- right before JM accuses ALV of one of her lies, DT objected, and JM said to judge, I am about to impeach this witness . . . . . . I was a little fascinated.

Actually the Paul Rudd lookalike juror looks way more like Adam Levine ..he's super thin and mostly wore sweats to court including the day of the verdict. But we stuck with Paul Rudd anyway. ;)

Nurmi looked vulnerable? To me it doesn't matter given how he tried to decimate the most vulnerable being here- a dead and sadistically murdered Travis who was rendered voiceless.

I understand the seeing of it, but the fact is Nurmi chose to smear a helpless victim. Like I care now about Nurmi's supposed vulnerability. It doesn't even begin to compare to Travis' which Nurmi doesn't mind blacking and erasing.
