I haven't seen mention of this here so here is what Judge Jeanine said about the death penalty for Jodi on her show:

The judge says NO to the death penalty. Jodi should not roam freely among us. Death is too good for her. She needs to age in jail and watch the world go by through iron bars. She needs to experience the graying of her long brown tresses, the wrinkling of her smooth ivory complexion, the cellulite in those firm thighs that she trapped her victim in, the sagging of her skin above her knees. No, death is too good for her. She needs to rot in jail before she walks in her deserved place in hell.

Verbatim Judge Jeanine's words at the very end of her show

I replied to this on the Observer thread...Judge jeanine does not really get Jodi.

Why can't her mother? I don't think her father will even if she asks.

Because JA kicked her own Mother and in interrogation video, Mom told investigators that JA's friends would call her in the middle of the night saying that JA needed help that she must be twisted in her mind - Mom also allowed her to move in with Bobby Juarez even though Mom claimed that she did not want daughter to be with him in the first place...JMO

She makes a powerful case.

Are you saying she can't testify because she'd be asked questions about those things?

I heard somewhere that that <modsnip> chick who has been on NG will appear, the one who had Jodi as a bride's maid.

@ Schuby (from last thread)

Next week is the season finale of Bates Motel.

The mom (Norma) is pretty nuts! All the characters are good. Def recommend it!! :rocker:

I was eyeing it on On Demand the other day...maybe I'll do a marathon this weekend.

Bringing this from the last thread- ElleElle said "Jodi reminds me of Ted Bundy. The narcissistic charm part of it."

When you said that it made me think of when I first started getting interested in this trial. I remember thinking hmmm, she is always on road trips. If I recall correctly, didn't Ted like to hit the open road quite a bit himself? Seem to recall that from the book "The Deliberate Stranger".
Have also read a few other books in which sociopathic killers tended to do the same, always on the move.

I honestly could go either way on this, as long as there is NO parole.

Someone posted this link to the video in the last thread:

http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/regio...arias-arias-taken-off-suicide-watch-says-mcso

Quote from article:
"Arias has been transferred back to the all-female Estrella Jail where she will remain on closed custody status."

I then saw that they had done an earlier report on this particular area of the Estrella jail in a story that had nothing to do with Jodi Arias. Interesting...and I like it!

http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/regio...ails-b400-pod-with-mcsos-most-dangerous-women

Quote from article:
"Closed-custody is considered an area where unpredictable inmates are kept, “the worst of the worst.” "

"“They can turn on you just like that,” said Carcamo. “Even though they’re chained, they’re still dangerous.”
Inmates are moved to a closed-custody status after a series of outbursts and violent behavior, said a spokesperson."

Hmm...yes, interesting. I forgot did Jodi herself say she kicked her mom? Because her mom could just deny it, but yeah if Jodi said it then she can't. As far as the bipolar remarks, I don't know if discussion of that would be allowed in. Allowing her to move in with Bobby could actually work for Jodi b/c that lets Jodi play the victim card - oh see my own parents didn't even care about me, no wonder I got so messed up and slaughtered him?? Doncha see?
What I am thinking is Jodi's mom is gonna lie if she gets on the stand - I mean, it's her daughter's life on the line. But I have 100% faith in Juan that he will catch the lies just he did with Jodi, and the net result will be more bad news for Jodi.

She'll certainly put the best possible spin on anything negative. As I see it, she has to testify. She's really all they've got.

Answering AZ Watcher on the previous thread who said: Also, I'd like to know why that delicate flower Donovan isn't on parole ... is she not a convicted felon? She shouldn't even be allowed to associate with a convicted murderer. Don't you have to be gainfully employed while on parole? If I see her face on TV one more time I'm gonna take a flamethrower to it.

Yes and Donavan needs to go down let her parole agent know, Jodi Arias be dam*ed.
