According to twitter Jodi " is classified as a maximum security inmate and she has additional restrictions on what she can and can't do" and "Detention staff check on #JodiArias every 15 minutes. The hour that's she's out of her cell are for showers and phone calls"

I smile when I think of her finally being allowed to exercise 'in the yard'..only to discover it is in a cage with a wire top! CMJA..angriest dog in the world...

My hinky hunch is that JSS will not allow the footage allowed in during the penalty phase. JA would just love to see herself on camera again and act like she's really running the show. Let's make her plea for not and let the family make the impact statement for the death penalty.

That'll really PO JA.

I wonder if the family will read the 18 page letter she sent them. Is that what she is afraid of????

I got this off my Facebook page...a fellow case watcher posted it:

Moments ago, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office received an order from the Superior Court of Arizona and Honorable Judge Sherry Stephens that from today, prohibits Sheriff’s Office officials from approaching defendant Jodi Arias for the purposes of media interview requests.

We will not attempt to contact Arias for purposes of media interviews until that order is lifted by the court.

Once the court lifts the order, and if inmate Arias agrees to do interviews, all interested media parties will be notified immediately by Sheriff’s PIO via email. Interviews will be conducted thereafter in the order already received.

Convicted murderer #JodiArias is now in leg and belly chains whilst being moved around the jail. #Justice

I have to agree - I think Miss Thinks She's All That And A Bag Of Chips had herself a big ole toddler temper tantrum. It'll be very interesting seeing her expressions in court tomorrow.

May God give the Alexander's strength to face that evil being during their victim impact statements.

love how it says "inmate Arias" bwaahahaha lol

I bet Arias doesnt like to be shut up...

bwahhaha, no interview for you right now Arias lol

you are gagged lol jmo

Oh I love this. And as I mentioned before, I bet JSS put the kibosh on letting the jurors see it. IMHO - this was the audience CMJA wanted to see it...not anyone else.

Bwahhhaaahhhaaa!

Can you imagine them reading that 18 page letter? One can only imagine the far fetched BS she wrote.

While we are waiting.....does anyone know how to make the font bigger on this site using firefox?? tia and please help

Yeah but didn't she sat something like, " I asked Jodi about it. I asked her if she had anything to do with it and she said, 'no mom, I wasn't even in Arizona, I have thr receipts.'" ?

Go into the wine a little early, did we?

The jury should also hear that phone call to the reporter that was made days in advance of the verdict - where JA arranged this whole interview.
Shows that she still is conniving and trying to control and play the judicial system.

It also shows how she pre-plans/premeditation. moo

Could be for her own protection, from other inmates, since she's such a high-profile felon.

I've been trying to think of why JA was in the psyche ward and then in Estrella by herself. All of this is since the verdict. I bet JA was boasting to the girls of her pod how she was about to be convicted of manslaughter and soon freed. Once that verdict came in, she did not want to hear from or have to live with her former cell mates - out of shame. She is probabaly throwing fits to make sure she doesn't have to suffer the humiliation and ridicule.

:seeya: I can't imagine the terror Travis felt in his final minutes of his life here on earth. The crime scene photos at the bathroom sink tell us that Travis saw himself in the mirror as JA stabbed him over, and over, and over again. And I believe the convicted murderer sealed her fate when she slit Travis' throat.

If the jurors were truthful during the death penalty qualification phase of the voir dire questioning, then I wouldn't be surprised if they put her on Death Row. She's already shown us that she's too manipulative to be trusted among the general population, even in a prison setting! I generally have mixed feelings about the Death Penalty, but not in her case. She's told the world she prefers Death over LWOP, so let's just give her what she wants. :moo:

(Btw, I've polled a few Arizona taxpayers about this, and they're all voting DP. They don't want anymore of their $$$ wasted on that monster!)

I'm sure I've read from multiple sources that the DP is more expensive than LWOP.
Could be wrong though.

The only way it would be cost effective is if you execute them straight after the 'guilty' verdict which is never going to happen any time soon imo.

I just mentioned to my DH a couple of days ago that Dr. Drew seems much more hysterical lately. I think it is his "handlers" coaching this. They are going after the Nancy Grace, Jane Velez-Mitchell crowd. Too bad.

IIRC, I seem to remember reading somewhere that Dr. Drew is not a psychologist. He is an internist.

He is a Board Certified Addiction specialist in addition.

Maybe tid-bits, but it would be based on the ninja story. I wonder if there will be a time limit for each VIS? I just wanna see someone pull a Jeffrey Dahmer type VIS on her.

Warning strong language.

I know it won't happen, but one can wish ;)

Had the same thought!!!!

Inmate, inmate, inmate.....I say INMATE Arias :floorlaugh:

Still active trial. The jurious
I don't get why JSS is going so far to protect inmate Jodi. She's a grown woman, it's not up to the sheriff's office to protect her other than in a physical sense. I hardly saw Troy up there brandishing a gun and demanding an interview of her. Why does she get special treatment??

Having watched the interview a few times more....more sickening than it was the first time. What a conniving, cunning witch. One thing in our favor though is the fact that she's more stupid than she is smart.

Jodi is not stupid. Unfortunately for Jodi her downfall is her overwhelming compulsion to propagate her lies and venom about Travis and his family. I think on some level she knows her behavior isn't beneficial to her case but she simply can't control herself.

She is far from stupid. She's a very good manipulator and architect to getting what she wants. It's her compulsions to control that gets her every time.

Hello All~~

Ok I think Sheriff Joe probably allows easy access to media for 2 reasons:

1) 1st Admin right to free speech
2) Usually those exercising their 1st Admin rights give away information to convict them or dig their own grave ie CKJA's post verdict interview

I also think KN & JW probably put the kabash on CKJA's ability to run her lie hole to media for 1) she pizzed them off throw'n them under the bus & 2) stops her from doing any more damage after mitigation phase before sentencing phase! Basically protecting CKJA from herself & this should shore up & any questions of effective counsel cuz..

Really? Hasn't everyone involved in this trial went above & beyond to let everything in save graffiti from a restroom wall in as absolute facts not hearsay or allegedly.. so IMO I'll be sad not to see CKJA post DP interview with Troy but on the other hand I do not blame Sheriff Joe or Troy Hayden cuz CKJA is an adult AND SHE MADE the CALCULATED choice to call Troy (via 3way call btw??) to set up that interview.. KN & JW are a day late & dollar short in this motion IMO

He does it because he's hoping his name will appear in the story.

I hope they all smirk and laugh at her and tell her to have a nice life in her new jail cell surrounded by thieves and murderers where she belongs...
