Jodi's probably thinking .. damn I didn't have to do all that overkill that got me in so much trouble ..

I think the DT tried to pound into JA the fact that she MUST look contrite and remorseful while all this is being described. The jury MUST see her looking sad and horrified at her own handiwork. So she's concentrating REALLY HARD on looking that way.

yeah, im not buying it as remorseful if that is what she is trying to pull off....

I also wonder if today she is on anything after her psych stay...

Interesting that defense went from claiming #JodiArias shot Alexander first (self defense) to asking Horn if he'd feel anything if shot last

I'm slightly traumatized by this testimony....I can only imagine how the family feels.

In addition...I just noticed that JA's silk (acrylic?) top has ruffled sleeves? Those clothes are definitely the handiwork of the mitigation specialist...:flashback:

Jodi is seriously creeping me out today, more than usual

Sent from my 'alternate reality' using my hippocampus

I think Jenny is just going through the motions. She is over it, moo.

JW certainly not exhibiting her usual chutzpah. Jodi has taken a toll on her DT, that's for darn sure. I'm sure that they'll be relieved when it's over. :moo:

From WAT 1 :

1 m Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

Juan is back up to go over the juror questions. There were 2 questions. #JodiArias

Jury question - 3 fatal wounds - throat cut, gunshot, and stab to vena cava

more likely to cause scalloping decomp or knife wound - can't say due to decomp state

3 wounds fatal - heart in and of itself, cut to throat in and of itself and gunshot taken in isolation would have been fatal.

how long take for TA to lapse into unconscious? - of the 3 it would be the slowest for fatality - few minutes maybe more - as the wound was small.

neck injury would take seconds for fatal - - extremely unlikely to ambulate to go to sink and stand if first one.

gun shot - unconsciousness vs. death - without medical attention it would be fatal - don't have a time frame - lapse into unconsciousness within seconds they would collapse and become unresponsive.
thank you

please approach

JA squinting her eyes -

Two juror questions
three rapidly fatal wounds, he agrees but independent
re: throat, scalloping caused by multiple wounds or decomp - he really can't say
JM brings up three wounds again - heart, throat and gunshot all in isolation fatal
JM asking about chest wound and if only injury how long would that take for TA to lapse
Horn saying of the three, longest of them and couldn't say a time
JM wants a time
Horn - few minutes, maybe more
Horn says throat was seconds
JM asking could someone grab knife if that was first injury or ambulate
Horn not confident on that and says probably not
JM now asking about gunshot - Horn says fatal but not a time frame, says someone would lapse into unconsciouness in seconds if first wound

JA watched, head up the ENTIRE time during this cross
Eyes all puffed up

and now we got JW

the juror question about each wound being rapidly fatal leads me to think one juror may not be voting for aggravating factors thus no DP, the use of the word rapid gives me pause for thought

as I am opposed to DP I hope her defence is successful in getting no DP

The only reason JA looks so sad is because she knows it's almost over . . .

Martinez: Which injury would take the longest to kill? Chest wound would have leaked slowly. Slit throat rapidly fatal. GSW, unsure.

Juan is done, counsel is at the bench. Things are moving quickly in this mini trial. Willmott is back up now. #JodiArias

wow Jury Questions. That got me off the floor. (am sitting on the floor blocking lace wraps I made for all the girls in the family...heirloom wraps on abc kiddy squares...great for blocking though!) I almost got stuck on the floor. Now is closing argument. Knew this would be quick, let's hope the jury is just as quick with a response.

My lord.... How on earth Travis' loved ones are dealing with this on top of the last 4 months and five years, I have no idea. I can't comprehend it.

To them and to all families of crime victims- my thoughts, support and admiration.

Wow, this is going by faster than I thought... Ladies & gentlemen, we may just have a decision today!
