*Trial Date Setting Conference Hearing (@ 3pm ADT) - AK – Jasmine (13 mos.) (Nov. 20, 2017, Fairbanks, died Nov. 24, 2017) & Chyanne (4 mos.) (Sept. 15, 2015) – *Stephany Elizabeth Lafountain (Bilecki) (23 @ time of crime/24/now 28) arrested (8/30/18) arraigned & charged (8/31/18) & indicted (8/29/18) with 2 counts of 1st degree murder, 3 counts of 2nd degree murder/intent serious injury/extreme indifference. Plead not guilty. $2M bond.
The 23-year-old mother conducted online searches for "ways to suffocate" and "ways to kill human with no proof" & those included “16 steps to kill someone & not get caught about an hour before she notified authorities her baby had ceased breathing, police said. Also searched whether drowning could show up in an autopsy report, "suffocating and smothering" and how to commit the perfect murder.
Trial was set to begin on 8/22/22 was vacated.

9/14/22: Unopposed motion (#16) to move status hearing date-granted. Status hearing reset on 9/29/22 @ 4pm. 9/29/22 Update: Next hearing on 1/19/23 @ 2:45pm. 12/15/22: Case Motion #17: Unopposed motion for extension of time to complete response to renewed motion to suppress filed by State.
1/19/23: Motion (#17)-Granted. Next trial date setting conference on 2/23/23 @ 3pm.
 
@PayrollNerd - do not if I am bit too early to ask - if there is any updates on the next hearing date?
