What a horrifying nightmare.

I literally pray that the jail wardens went into his cell and somehow extracted useful information about his crimes in the months before he killed himself. I know it is illegal to do that, but whatever!

I hope hell is real and that he is suffering there now.

He was 61 years old when apprehended...GMH's IQ was within the top 10% of the world...He had eluded LE for over four decades, according to him...

Initially IK's poem seemed to address his victims, but I now see it as an ode to his favorite person - himself!

In his "swan song", IK imo, casts himself as the" moth princess" and his "other self" the victim, a "godless" human whose blood seeps and body rots.The "brown curls" - his own.

Foxfire, I agree with your choices of poetry that IK seems to emulate, oddly T.S. Eliot's "Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock" comes to mind for me - something about a divide of the psyche." Let us go then you and I while the evening is set out against the sky, like a patient etherized on the table" ect.

I wonder how many of his unknown victims are men and if that plays a part in his hold-back info, IK seems to like dressing up...

I believe the FBI surely did record each conversation from them releasing only clips...Remember they petitioned the court to have all Federal Documents be known to the Public...They only agreed to 1/2 of them.....There is definitely something in they don't want public to see I feel

And to me (may just be me) I get a feeling that maybe he was talking in the note about his GF in some parts of it......I would LOVE to hear a statement from her...Was she afraid...How did he act at home....was he obsessive, was he kind or abusive.....When he speaks of go to your office with papers on the wall and etc....to me it just kinda feels like he has some type of hate towards her..and remember the home was in her name...not his....but a lot does sound like something directed at her...From what I understand she held a pretty good position there and I assume her money would have been more than his by working in honesty....

WHY are they wanting all the note took down off of all sites???...that truly puzzles me...Why release it in the 1st place???...Maybe they got a CLUE and released it too soon???

it is so frustrating that opportunities to know more about his evil deeds are diminished by his death...though I sincerely hope he is suffering in hell.

The supposed justice system really failed here. How amazing that he was issued a razor accidentally...what??? really???

No idea why so many websites are removing his suicide note, but after I read it I felt terrible, almost poisoned. In a way, it seems a bit negligent to keep a note like that widely available because it might possibly spur copy cat activity....ugh.

Coupled with the fact that his cell was monitored with a camera & a policy of 30 minute bedchecks. There was a 7 or 8 hour window reported by authorities for when Keyes committed suicide.

I'm sure he was planning a lot while sitting in that cell, but NEVER will I believe the above story.....Sounds to me like they gave him the razor and INTENTIONALLY forgot about it.....

Claudette....Where did you read that he was relatively normal to the girlfriend??? and by you say the family might have thought he was a little off???.....I don't buy this either....His family knew from a very young age this creature had mental problems....Remember the abusing of the cat, made the other children sick, so they left him alone and ran away.......RED LIGHT.....What kind of parent does not know this would be a BRIGHT RED LIGHT to have a long long talk with a child...the proceed to try and find out in the Medical Field WHY this child has these abusive thought and acts on them.....I feel the family should come forth and give some type of statement on the victims behalf....To me by them hiding in their RELIGION....It just shows they are not normal people....or if it is the pastor there keeping them from coming forth....Then DEFINITELY this would be a cult to me

I know 100% some of the family has been contacted other than those that go to this church of Wells.....They REFUSED to comment 1 word to this person and the girlfriend never could be contacted......I'm sure she is suffering mentally over all this....but SHE most of all could help authorities so much if she would only sit down and tell things like his actions at home, his behavior and etc....I will NEVER buy that he was good enough in his WORK as he called it that he lived 2 lives and no-one knew.....Never.....I don't feel there is any human being alive on this earth that could be perfect as they claim him to be and not give off some type of looks, words, behavior different....so much more....They have been together a few years.....Well March, will be my 30th Anniversary plus we dated a little over 2 years....My husband did not have to say 1 word if he had spent too much money, maybe went some-place he knew I would not want him to go....I could tell by his face.....He would become so kind and talkative and try his best to avoid me asking him anything....Usually I would say SPILL IT....and he would get tickled at me, he knew I knowed him like the back of my hand
There had to be differences when he went on a murder spree.....I wonder often if he spent more time alone ON HIS COMPUTER following updates of his victims....Or was he more talkative with the HIGH he supposedly got from killing....I could name a 100 or more things...She had to know something..not saying she knew of the killings...but he had to act in different ways, maybe small things....but if they cared for each other....you get to know that 1 person better than they know themselves sometimes....
I just don't buy this whole mess and someone mentioned on the page of this article "Will his family come forth now and sue because the officer forgot to get the razor"????.....Never entered my mind...but in the society we live in today....NOTHING would surprise me about this case...NOTHING....

They need to un-seal Federal Documents and release them to the public as they put in an appeal for a couple weeks ago....This might help families that have missing know if Keyes was the abductor or maybe killed their loved ones...At least they would have a WHY and maybe in someway find Peace

I remember it was the Pastor and the mother gave him permission to speak for her also...............Yes the family tried, even at the weddings they said a message was preached aimed at Keyes..he even started a fuss or comeback when the pastor talked on this.....and he was strong in confirming he was Atheists and did not believe in God

OK...I still gotta a big problem with SK'S living a double life...I know that BTK and others were active members of their community and church....but..and I say BUT.....Where in the world does the Wife not suspect these men???
Keyes would be gone for weeks at a time on these sprees...Wondering where he told her he was going during all these times....Did she not get suspicious about MANY trips???...I mean you gotta admit this man traveled a lot more than he ever did his construction work
