digndoodle really got my brain working the other day. I had totally discounted the idea that he could be a hired killer UNTIL I started viewing that video with all the 'extra' information in it. It hit me (like a flounder to the face) that he did have two very distinct patterns to these trips, and if you look at your linear timeline you will see that the multi-city/multi-day/long driving distance trips didn't begin until 4/24/07. Previous to that they were short, one city in-and-out without a great deal of lead in. Some would be a week, some only 2-3 days. Something to think about. If he were doing hits and got hooked and started his own hunting in '07 (IIRC about the time he broke up with mother of his child) the early jobs are not going to be things you will find listed in newspapers.

To me, the trips have to be looked at based on the pattern(s) we know from the murders he admitted to: Alaska (Sam), Vermont (Curriers), New York area (April 2009) - I include the last one because we have a detailed timeline of his trip for this one, even though we don't have an identity. For purposes of establishing patterns, it's the trip details that I need the most so that's where I'm starting.


We know that his killing trips, at least in later years, always involved flying to one place, renting a car, driving somewhere else. Also it looks like he would sometimes put a third city in the mix - as in, fly AK to seattle, seattle to cityA, rent a car, drive to kill, fly back out of City A ***to random third city*** THEN fly home from there to Alaska.

So it's pretty clear that he had several killing trips in there along with the known April 2009 one, the Curriers in 2011, and Sam (not a trip at all) in 2012.


We also know that in the case of the Curriers, he buried the kill kit in Vermont for later use (2011) during his April 2009 killing trip... SO some of his rental car mileage is possibly at times being put on the cars while he drives to adjacent states to bury kill kits - we know he said he had some in TX, WY, and WA that haven't been recovered yet, for example.

Just some thoughts..

I had wondered about the very brief flights he made.Wondered if he was hired to do a hit or two...would explain him having so much disposable $$$ jmo

Call me crazy but first thing I see is that he went to BC on 420 (4/20/2005)... 420 is a pot smoker "holiday" - they usually have a big pro-marijuana rally up there on 4/20 each year, possibly do a "smoke in" IIRC (and I may not, it's been a very long time since I had friends who talked about this stuff around me).

So as soon as I saw that I thought to myself "what a burnout"... unless he was dealing.

But it's probably just a coinkydink as my mother would've said.

Second thing that hits me as I read your timeline, Lucky1 - walking across the border into Mexico. Once when I was under 18, probably about 16, I had a boyfriend whose older sister and her boyfriend lived in an adjoining state. One weekend he asked if I wanted to go down and visit them for the day and come back later and I agreed, but when we got to the state line the person driving the car told me I had to get out and walk across the state line because I was under 18 and hadn't told my mom where I was going and he said he didn't want to get in trouble later, if she got mad and called police or something, for transporting a minor across state lines. I was incredulous and dumbfounded.... which was good because a second later they all burst out laughing and said just kidding, just wanted to see if you'd get out of the car, then started driving again. The jerks, LOL!

BUT I tell this story BECAUSE... what if IK was in a car with someone he absolutely positively did not want to be tied to, so he said "look I'm a runner, it's no big deal to me, let me out a couple of miles before the border and I'll walk it and meet up with you on the other side"....

If it's a rental car in San Diego, most of the major agency's don't allow you to take the car to Mexico.

edit - I see in the text summary under one of them it says he had considered returning to the farmhouse he left the Curriers in so he could burn it down. That makes me think "oh well then when he's burned down houses in the past there must've been bodies in them that he'd used kill kit decomp-hastening-agents on like Drano and whatever on, and with that combined with fire there's been no obvious evidence left."

He burned down a house in TX and he said he considered taking someone from an ATM area while he was in TX but chickened out because there were too many cops.... I wonder if that's bull, and he really DID take someone..

I also wonder if any houses burned down anywhere near the time and place Lauren Spierer went missing..

Crawford Notch is where we saw him, and I know I saw it somewhere in the media but finding it now is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

There's a $300 per ATM withdrawal limit. He went to ATMs with her card like a thousand times? Are you sure? I would think he could NEVER get that much transferred without going online to initiate an EFT from her account into his own, which I've done before a billion times but never with that much money, or else he got a cashier's check which I find crazy-unlikely.

But it's early and I'm still drinking coffee, so if I missed something obvious I claim lack-of-caffeine-induced-brain-deficiency!

GGE, his 1st known place of using her card was in Alaska, just to be sure she had given him the correct pin number, then I'm assuming shortly after is when he killed her, then on his trip I do not believe it was used or nor has it said it was used on the cruise as of yet, when he went on his trip going to his sister's wedding is where they caught on that maybe someone had kidnapped her and he was using her card, I would have to look the article up, but it was used I know in N. Mexico, Arizona and in Texas, and I believe there was 2 others but all were on his trip to Texas.....and remember that is how he got caught, the last time he used her ATM the security camera caught the back end of his rented white car

When he wrote the ransom note to her family, it was put on some type of paper like newspaper, he texted them and told them it would be at some Dog Park there, and it was found of course....He did not get access to the money of $30,000.00 from an atm, I'm assuming the money was also taken to a specific location where he ordered them to take it I'm not 100% sure if it was at this park or not...that would require to go back to the 1st and get specific links...Sorry if I mislead you that he got that much from an ATM!!!!......but you can get more from an ATM than that, in the Boca Mall Shootings, Jane Doe was forced to go to ATM and she had to run it through about 3 times to get the maximum amount you are allowed, it was either 500 or 600 one and that is why she was almost sure he would kill her when she got the piece of paper with the last withdrawal stating she had reached her max

There is footage of the mans face if someone can take a still shot and post it for comparison? There are also a few missing people from that area also, I will try to link them later....

Wanting2Help, I was just going back through old posts, WOW, now we know IK robbed a bank in Tupper Lake.....I would put my dollars on the table that IK is responsible for all 3 of these since they were in the same general location and a few months apart!!!...Wow good find
