This Unidentified in florida, looks like her to me… I saw someone had said her aunt and uncle vacationed in florida… The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
When I enlarged the image she looks far too old IMO (but I haven't looked at artist renderings too often). Interesting though, wonder if any family went to florida shortly after she went missing (I don't believe she left her daughter willingly). Again JMO :)

I heard from her stepmom the other day. Another segment was done on Brittney but not sure if it's MSM or a podcast. Not sure if I can link. If anyone is interested try a google search, there was some information in that broadcast I never heard before.

Always thinking of you Brittney.

Thank you, I will go search for it. Her stepmom Steph is in my thoughts too.

Alabama Cold Case Advocacy has a podcast since January and they did a thorough 2-part episode on Brittney. They have a website with a page for the podcast that if you google it you can find. (since we’re not sharing links). Hope this was ok to post like this.

In the wake of Brittney’s disappearance, 11 people were arrested on sex abuse charges, including members of her family and family friends. Some of those people include:
  • Mendy Kent — second-degree sodomy, sex abuse – child less than 12
  • Billy Brownlee — second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, sex abuse – child less than 12
  • Randall Wood — second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, enticing child to enter
  • Wendy Holland — second-degree sodomy
  • Dustin Kent — first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy
The lead prosecutor in the case previously told WKRG, “Pretty much everyone in this extended family was having sex with one another and having sex with the children.”

In July 2020, an aged progressed photo of Brittney was released by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A week after the photo was released, Mobile Police received a tip about her remains, leading detectives with MCSO to search an abandoned trailer in Grand Bay. Nothing came from that search.

Monster in the Shadows‘ is a three-part docuseries about Brittney’s case that was released on Peacock in 2021.

Wanting to keep this case in everyone’s minds. I had literally never heard about this until recently, which is flabbergasting. This case should have made major national news, and is quite sickening that little has happened for YEARS now, mostly surrounding the disappearance of Brittney. There seems to be very little info on the internet surrounding this case, other than the same information about the arrests repeated over and over. I hope that even just by posting here every so often, it will keep the case alive and keep people looking for this sweet girl, for the sake of her daughter. Does anyone have any updated information on this case?

Great interview Steph, thanks again! Wow, a total of 15 victims and no POI in Britt's disappearance :(

Does anyone remember if a reason has every been given for why Donnie picked Brittney up down the street instead of Chessie's house? Did Britt just take off walking because she was arguing with Chessie or maybe Britt and Donnie did not want Chessie to see them together? TIA
We believe the reason Brittney met Donny is because she was going to confront him regarding her cousin victim. Brittney did not have a fight with Chessie that day. She told Chessie she was meeting her friend, Courtney. She didn't want Chessie to know what was going on, because she knew Chessie would kill all of them.

I still believe she is alive and well and safe and sound.
Snip - Meanwhile, Dustin Kent, 38, 7041 Marle Road, Mobile, had his sentencing pushed back from Thursday to 9 a.m. May 21, as an investigation continues.

Kent sentencing on hold

According to a court filing Thursday, Kent is cooperating with authorities in Mobile and Baldwin counties in several ongoing investigations. His involvement, the court documents reads, "is expected to have a potentially significant impact on his sentencing" and that a 120-day postponement was necessary.

Anyone know what the latest is with Jennifer Moore? I can't find anything recent on her since she obtained her work release. Didn't she get approved to work out of state? This is the one person I still hang on to hope for more information.
She is married and lives in Colorado.

Do you all remember when Chessie said she knew for a fact her brother, RSW, was innocent? This new remark by Chessie regarding innocent people don't make plea deals has me wondering if she has changed her mind about her brother? RSW accepted 2 plea deals and most likely will be used extensively by the prosecution in the upcoming trials. Just curious if she now believes her brother is guilty...
No, she didn't change her mind. She and everyone else believes Scott is innocent. He had no choice but to plead. Chessie just wasn't going to plead to something she did not do.

"The 17 years issued on Thursday will run concurrently with the sentence issued in Mobile County."

Seventeen years just isn't enough of a sentence time, IMO. He'll be out and a danger to the next batch of young children.

That excuse that despite coming from a good family he married into a family from hell doesn't sound like he's taken full responsibility for his own actions.

This part of the quote from his defense attorney I will share using my sarcastic tone of voice -- "But I think he also understands theres probably no amount of grace, at least on this earth that will, that will redeem him, Beck said."

All I can say is let's hope he never gets his hands on another young child again.
he died in prison recently, he won't get another chance
