Every time I see his mug shot it makes my skin crawl.

And he looks loaded...those pupils are HUGE

Wendy or SW. Now I would like to know WHEN the victim confided in the sister. I truly do appreciate the fact that MSM is reporting on this case, but I really wish they'd think of the obvious follow up questions as well. Maybe they do and just get no answer.

It could be Wendy, Sonya, or Chessie. But, I think it must be Wendy since she is the only 'sister' charged - so far anyway - and, the victim came forward after Donnie shot himself. I would think LE would have had enough time by now to charge any of the others if they were going to.
Unless, Wendy's charges stem from the endangerment of her own children - which is possible.

DH probably knew his goose was cooked in the investigation into his alleged abuses and took the cowards way out but may have attempted to protect someone else prior to his final act. What are the chances that DH took out BW because she was a past victim of someone very close to DH who he wanted to protect?

I’ve never followed a case with such a large number of despicable characters and I include those who didn’t offend but more than likely knew what these characters were up to - disgusting all around with possible rare exceptions!

Saying another prayer for Brittney and her daughter, Wallace and his wife. Her story touched me all the way over in the UK all those months ago and I still think of her daily. Let's hope this horrific mess is beginning to unravel. The day we see WWH held accountable will hopefully be when we start getting some real answers. God Bless all that are keeping Brittney's story alive.x

IF she'd been through this before (the pains of testifying at trial), maybe, just maybe, she did run off to avoid it again. Maybe DH told her the "you know what" was about the hit the fan and Brittney wanted nothing to do with being dragged through the Courts. You've seen how Dustin's lawyer is already attacking the character of the victim the other day. I wouldn't blame Brittney for wanting no part of it, especially if she had been through it once before and it wasn't a good experience. If that's the case though, I do hope she finds the courage to return. Her testimony could go a long way to putting these sick people behind bars for a long long time.

That would be ideal, but I am afraid Brittney wouldn't be able to handle a somewhat normal relationship. She more than likely never felt deserving of being treated well. I mean, the last she was seen was on her way to see Uncle D, who appeared to be the ringleader and most deviant of the family members, if that is possible.

I don't think we ever heard any details about her charge. Like you, I assumed it was for allowing her children to be around Donnie...now I think otherwise. But, I'm not sure she fits the protocol for who is required to report abuse in Alabama.
Either way, 'child endangerment' is a misdemeanor. :furious:

I appreciate that MSM is reporting, but geez.. is it too much to ask that they get the person correct that the hero confided in? I bet the tide did roll when DK's sister read the original article. I had to read it three times because my brain automatically went to the Wood sisters and I couldnt comprehend that it was another female relative that appeared to let the hero down again. Im guessing it was MWK. WHEN would matter a great deal. I too would like some follow up questions. UGH.

Occasionally I think of WWH's bestie and all those pics and I wonder if her bestie is still around. They certainly looked to be very involved in each others lives for a very long time. She appeared to adore DH.

I think he was the life of the party. The funny guy. The favorite uncle. The perfect hubby (for WWH anyway).

Its hard to comprehend the relationship between abuser and the abused. Hard to comprehend that there is love. These creeps groomed these children all their lives. I have no doubt that Brittney was close to her favorite Uncle Donnie. He probably made her feel important, special, and had her back. I dont see him harming Brittney, leaving no evidence of it, then hiding her body, again leaving no evidence and offing himself.

I think he made alot of money off these kids, whether with drugs, or filming them. We have no idea how much money he may have had stashed. I doubt WWH even knows. He seemed to be everyones boss. I think in his own sick mind he loved Brittney. And I think he gave her a substantial amount of money, possibly new ID (he knew what was coming for some time) and took her to the truck stop where she caught a ride away from all this horror. Can you imagine having to go through this again? Testifying again?

I dont feel like shes dead. I think she ran. I think she is fully capable of surviving out in the world, after all she has survived in her short life, its probably a piece of cake. Compared to what she left behind.. how bad could it be?

Unless they're still reporting it wrong or I'm getting my initials all mixed up, I don't think it would be MWK. MSM said it was the SISTER of the defendant's wife. MWK IS the defendant's wife so it would have to be one of her sisters.
