Carlee's last few twitter messages on the day she went missing are interesting. If it's true that the last one was posted just 15 minutes before the incident, it's extremely interesting and relevant, in my opinion.

Thank you so much! This is not Carlee's words, but the words and interpretation of the dispatcher and assumed to be Carlee's report, so I can see how articles could shorten descriptions and what not.

And 3-4 years old is not my version of a toddler, so that is definitely worth noting. By the time a kid hits 4, they aren't toddling much.

Let's say that your theory is correct that this wasn't an abduction. What are your thoughts on how she evaded police considering they show up on camera within 4 minutes?

my theory would be either 1) she goes into a nearby home OR 2) someone is waiting with a car on the other side of those trees.

IDK bc the mile marker prior to this is 12. Mile marker 10 will be an entire mile after the incident. Per Google Earth street view

I don’t know why this bothers me, but how would anyone know that a toddler they saw in a diaper on the side of the road was a male?

She traveled quite a distance before stopping (that still has me wondering). She may have noted she passed mile marker 10 and had not yet got to 11 when she called 911?

Because that's where her car finally came to a full stop, and where she got out, just before mile maker 11.

But if she thought she saw a child at mile marker 10, IN THE DARK, why in the world get out of the car a mile away, and ask the "child" if they were okay?

Are we to believe that child ran along the side of the highway and stopped at mile marker 11 where she stopped and got out?

Nope. Just nope. Sorry but, all the nopes on this one.

I’m another one who doesn’t have Twitter, so I’m missing the relevance of whatever Carlee had posted.


I’ll just say for now, that IMO if there were either an unescorted child by a busy highway, and/or kidnappers of a woman, certain things would be incumbent upon the police.

In the interest of the child’s safety, the police, IMO, would have to have issued an alert for that child, or else reassured the public that the child has been located unharmed.

In the interest of the public’s safety, it would be mandatory for the police, having interviewed Carlee, to issue a BOLO with description of this kidnapper or kidnappers.

To my knowledge, this has not been done. Therefore to me this original story has less credence.

I am still 100% on Carlee’s side, though. I’m just relieved she is safe and then whatever we find out will be fine. Just that it’s imperative that the info comes from a NEUTRAL source, such as the police. Not from anyone who has a vested interest in Carlee’s explanation.


JMO until more NEUTRAL and OFFICIAL confirmation is released.

I believe those mile markers aren't just "10" and "11" - but actually "11.6"... "11.4"... etc. - in the video I think her car stops around 11.6.
