Neat. And the Lauderdale County Detention Center has policies that an inmate be transported by 2 armed guards. So....Ok, so it looks like everyone trying to visit someone in the Alabama DOC (prisons as opposed to the county/city jails) are thoroughly vetted, including being fingerprinted at each visit and having their photo taken by the prison every 2 years.
This is the inmate visitor application that goes over all of the rules.
