2/8/22: (#258) State's response to defense request for production-interview & exhibits regarding Lanier Beasley. (#260) State's response to defense request for production of two Lorcin 9mm pistols held in possession of Ozark Police. (#254): Erin motion. Response to Motion for specific production. Neither statement nor reference to a Mr. Erin Davis can be located in the history of this case. Mr. Erin Davis is unknown to the prosecution: so without additional information the State has nothing to produce in regard to Mr. Erin Davis. (#256) State's response to defense motion regarding underwear & socks at scene.

don't know if the recent ones pertain to any of these though.

This was my first thought actually (Erin). My secondary thoughts include very active social media or non-MSM individuals and personalities along with possible associated potential evidence/ documentation not brought out in prior case filings. The reason being that an ex-parte motion was attached.

We should know fairly soon what it is actually. Either that or it will be a non-event.

After the girls left the Big Little Convenience store gas station in Ozark, AL, how did the killer get their car stopped?

J.B. Beasley and Tracie Hawlett were heading home directly after the phone call Tracie made from the payphone at the Big Little Convenience store. Driving in a dark car after 11:38 pm at night, how would the killer know that when stopping a moving vehicle there would be two females inside?

If the motive was not robbery, then how could he be so sure of that fact? I really think that whatever happened the girls stopped somewhere after leaving the Big Little. This is how the killer saw them.

Even with the case potentially being solved, there will always be these sorts of questions that will linger without answers.
 
In reference to the ex parte motion and subpoena request that I referred to in post #501:

Apparently the motion was approved and thus published.
The Subpoenas are for McCraney’s current wife and one additional subject by the name of Dan Driver.

Ok, happy Thursday evening friends.

Another hearing for motion in Limine as been ordered for March 17th by Judge Filmore. I am confident that it will involve anything filed after the last motions hearing in January.

Additionally, the State filed a discovery response in reference to a defense request for information regarding a subject by the name of V. Glass
(See my post #426 of this thread). The State denies knowledge of the subject in reference to this case.

Lastly, the defense filed a motion in objection to a firearm/pistol produced for demonstrative purposes during the preliminary hearing phase of this case. (IMO counsel is running a bit late with this particular motion, but who am I to say)

I expect additional motions to be filed before the 17th

I seen that also. I think now he has to admit that he knew her or else he would definately be guilty for rape. They are just trying to make their defense. It's going to be interesting to see how he knew her and where they met.

Hi Joni,
Good to see you. Can you or anyone else post a MSM link to this information of McCraney’s possible assertion of knowing the girls other than the one alleged by his attorneys? If they are going to take that position they need to be filing a motion in Limine to disallow OPD’s marathon interrogation session recording with McCraney. I really don’t see that happening however.

I agree that Judge Filmore with most likely deny many of the motions to quash the exhibits in question. The vitality of them mandate their presentation otherwise they would have been dealt with long before this.

It will be interesting also to see out of all the subpoenas, who will be allowed to testify or not. I would not be surprised to see a few more subpoenas issued in fact

Exactly. We have to wonder...Is he lying now or did he lie initially when he denied knowing either girl? Either way he is a liar. I have said since his arrest, he would probably fabricate a story that he and Beasley were secretly lovers in an attempt to explain how his semen was found on and in her. Touch DNA is one thing, semen DNA is another.

You are correct BL. No I don't have any verified info about CM himself stating that he knew JB just the lawyer on the news. I was just wondering that I think he has to go that angle or otherwise that wouldnt have a leg to stand on. Not saying that it is true. Just wondering if it is, he would certainly have to prove that he knew JB in court.
